Interesting.  Off to tend to my lemmings!  I've made it to Upsidedown World in Taxing so far, and I only needing Lemmings Encyclopedia once.  However, I have checked to solutions on there, but they turned out to be correct, so technically it's not getting it from there.

Stay on topic. http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/tongue.gif" alt=":P" title="Tongue" class="smiley" />

My top six? Yikes... hard to say... there are so many Dos games I like.

By the way, "The Incredible Toons Machine" is a Windows game, not Dos.

Here are all those nice Dos games I enjoyed playing (most of them having a Windows port and some others better on the Amiga/ST) in alphabetical order :

- Acid Tetris (now renamed to "Super Acid Block Attack")
- Alone in the Dark
- Captive (ST version)
- Death Rally
- Descent
- Duke Nukem 3D
- Dungeon Keeper with Deeper Dungeons (Windows version)
- Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back (ST version)
- Heroes of Might and Magic
- Lemmings, Oh no! More Lemmings, Holiday Lemmings 1991 through 1994, The Lemmings Companion, Save the Lemmings, Lemmings II : The Tribes, Lemmings 3D, Lemmings 3D : Winterland
- Loom
- Mystic Towers
- Populous I and II
- Prince of Persia
- Push Over and One Step Beyond
- Rise of the Triad
- Supaplex
- Syndicate
- The Even More Incredible Machine, The Incredible Machine 2 (but I do have the Windows version named "The Incredible Machine 3"), Sid & Al's Incredible Toon (but I do have the Windows version named "The Incredible Toons Machine").
- Theme Hospital
- Turrican II
- UFO : Enemy Unknown
- Worms United
I like dragons! They're the center of my life! I'll never forget them...

Tim

DragonsLover's list brought back some memories of the DOS games I used to play. The games I remember are:

- Duke Nukem
- Lemmings series (of course http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/tongue.gif" alt=":P" title="Tongue" class="smiley" />)
- Prince of Persia (I remember getting stuck at a certain point in the game and gave up, havent played it since)
- Worms

From a larger list: (source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_MS-DOS_games" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_MS-DOS_games )

- Battle Chess
- California Games
- Doom
- Double Dragon
- GTA 1 or 2 (forgot which one I tried but I remember the birds eye view)
- Jill of the Jungle
- Serf City/Settlers
- SimCity 2000 (first played it on DOS, later for Windows)
- Simon the Sorcerer
- Ski or Die
- Tomb Raider
- Virtual Pool
- Wolfenstein 3D
- Word Rescue

Soon I will make a list of my top games!

EricLang

3D Lemmings

Are you sure 3D Lemmings was on DOS? http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/huh.gif" alt="???" title="Huh?" class="smiley" /> I had it on CD.

I love 3D Lemmings. Once I was able to handle the controls, there was a good game to be found in there. I wish they'd do it again. With dual analog sticks, it should be a lot easier to implement now.

Other top 5 DOS games in my opinion (and yes, 3D Lemmings is definitely a DOS game) are Ultima V, Flashback, Beneath a Steel Sky and Wolfenstein 3D.
SEGA Master System version
100% on 110/120 levels (92%). Other levels [Lemmings lost]:
Fun 03 [3], 06 [2], 18 [5]
Taxing 19 [5], 27 [1], 28 [3]
Tricky 15 [5], 17 [2]
Mayhem 19 [7], 26 [10]

You can have CD games on DOS.  In fact a large number of my DOS games are.
And I believe 3D Lemmings did have a CD version.  And it came out on disc for PS1 and Sega Saturn, for obvious reasons.

Yes, I know that 3D Lemmings came out on CD, especially the PC version because it was the one I played.

Anyway, I'm trying my best to stay on topic, but most of the DOS games I remember were "Learning" games. These are the Top 6 DOS games I've played:

Lemmings
Grand Prix Racing
Prince of Persia
Thomas the Tank Engine Pinball
Math Rescue
Word Rescue
