Scrolling banner text ([move][/move]) no longer works

Well OK, jokes and arguments aside, it's obviously not considered good UI anymore and there doesn't seem to be anyone other than myself and Silken in favour of keeping it, so I won't push for this one any further.

Besides, it occurs to me that it would be possible to screenshot Neo/SuperLemmix's scroller and then add it as an image wherever it seems absolutely necessary. It might be somewhat more readable due to staying still for several seconds, and the entire image would also be clickable wherever it's used as a link. Furthermore, it would be even more in-keeping with the Forum's Lemmings theme than a plain text scroller would be.

So, that might be the best solution here. By all means close the topic if there's nothing else to add. Thanks for the replies/consideration in the meantime.
