Here's a link to Lemmings 3 for Windows.

Just unzip to a folder and run the .Bat file.
i dont know how to use dosbox at all, im talking about a program/exe file.

jkapp76

You don't need to know how to use dosbox for this. Just click the BAT file and the game will launch and everything is auto.

Hit ctrl-f9 to quick end the game if you need to quit faster than the game's exit method.

No knowledge of dosbox is necessary. I did this for lem1,2 3, and 3d as well.

dude theres a file in the folder thats called ''dosbox'' and its an exe...

You don't need virtual machine for this. Just unzip, or unrar to a folder and click the bat file.
I made this myself, it's no virus. I made all these myself.

ctrl+f9 will get you back to desktop if you can't get out any other way.

This uses dosbox, but it's all set up to work automatically. You won't need to have any knowledge of dosbox to use this. And dosbox is of course an EXE file, so that is normal.

i tested it in a virtual machine, and when i open the .bat file its just the menu music and a blank screen, how do i fix this?

do i need dosbox?

I would never use virtual machine with this. Virtual machine is a pc emulator and the dosbox included in this package is also a pc emulator. You're using an emulator inside an emulator. The included Dosbox here is trying to use your local pc sound and video options and you're only offering some emulated version of that.

The only thing I can think of is that it must be incompatible with your emulated video card or maybe your PC is not new enough for all this emulation.

These packages have been downloaded dozens of times and used by many many people with no issue, they are safe to use without virtual machine. And I'm sure there's a person or two here that can attest to this as I've been a member here for years.

I've had no issue with it at all and it's been enjoyable. Although I'd like to eliminate the scan line display and have a normal screen. Is there a way to do that in some setting screen somewhere? I've tried.

@Mobiethian

To disable the scanlines just replace the file in the Data folder with this one.

*You can modify the (486.conf) file in my other conversions as well by editing this file in those versions, going to the (render) section and changing the glshader=none.

Here's the other two conversions, for anyone interested.
