With the blessing from Strato Incendus I have converted his World Tour Level pack for the Super Lemmix player.

This has been updated since I first shared it a few days ago.

Most replays are from the NeoLemmix post, many are new.

The Music Pack can be found here...
https://www.dropbox.com/s/g6i82fdlg9w713y/Lemmings%20World%20Tour%20Music%20Pack.zip?dl=1

(6/3/2023) Already had one small update... 1.2 now!
(6/7/2023) Two Freezer levels fixed and three replays updated. 1.3 now!
(7/6/2023) With SLX2.4 we can now use the original replay for nm39 and the styles are now in the styles pack.
(8/11/2024) Version 2.8 has exit positions fixed for levels in the Orig/OhNo tilesets that were affected by the SLX 2.8 styles update

Just a quick remark that I am still planning to do an official conversion eventually - I've merely halted that process somewhere in the Professional rank, until WillLem officially announces the first "stable version" of SuperLemmix (SLX 3.0), so that I know the physics will no longer change in any fundamental way in the near future. For example, things like being able to assign Blockers to Swimmers. Even though World Tour doesn't feature any of the newer skills (Shimmiers, Jumpers, Sliders, Laserers etc.), new interactions of older skills like Blocker and Swimmer may still create new solutions - or backroutes.

Simultaneously, the reintroduction of radiation and slowfreeze has allowed me to bring back some of my old original solutions from Old-Formats Lemmings World Tour.
I assume @jkapp76 might not necessarily know what these are intended to look like, given that most people nowadays probably play Lemmings World Tour in New-Formats NeoLemmix. ;)

In the meantime, feel free to play this version. :D Just be aware that I can't really say anything about the intended solutions in this one, since some modifications may have been made by jkapp76 in order to make the levels playable in SuperLemmix (specifically, on any level that requires Stoners in NeoLemmix, and therefore requires Freezers in SuperLemmix).
My packs so far:
Lemmings World Tour (New & Old Formats), my music-themed flagship pack, 320 levels - Let's Played by Colorful Arty
Lemmings Open Air, my newest release and follow-up to World Tour, 120 levels
Paralems (Old Formats), a more flavour-driven one, 150 levels
Pit Lems (Old Formats), a more puzzly one, 100 levels - Let's Played by nin10doadict
Lemmicks, a pack for (very old) NeoLemmix 1.43 full of gimmicks, 170 levels

hello

I don't know where to post this but in some levels of the World Tour for Superlemmix, the Exit is not on the ground but hovering in the air so that the lemmings can't get in. Like in World Tour Level: 1, 6, 8 (what I just saw until now).

I saw that the conversion is difficult, but is there anything you can do to put the exits correctly?

... an some minutes later I opened the level editor for the first time :). Indeed you can put down on the ground the exits. When I as a beginner only do this an choose "Save" is there anything else that I should be aware of or possibly can break in the level? I hope and guess, not.

I'm guessing that levels 1, 6 and 8 are in either the Brick or Rock tileset. If so, I posted about this earlier in the topic and Will/namida replied about it.

The conversion for Lemmings World Tour to SuperLemmix wasn't done by Strato Incendus himself so it's not an official conversion.

You should probably post your findings in the pack topic itself

There is a lot that is different ever so slightly between NL and SLX as I've found this week trying to convert SEB Lems, Modular Lems and MegSEGAbytes to SLX.
None of the packs are ready yet because there is a lot of stuff to check.

thank you, I did not see your post above.
I think I will change it manually, but if not, in the QuickMod tool there is indeed an option for this, but it says it is only for the Orig/Oh No missions. Is the QuickMod function for correcting the exits also for other missions like the World Tour?

I've now merged these posts.

The QuickMod tool only needs to correct Orig/OhNo exits because no others are affected.

I've gone ahead and fixed all exits in this pack. Please re-download it from the OP to ensure compatibility. Thanks!

Thanks for the exit fixes, WillLem!

As Flospy has outlined, though, this is not an official conversion of Lemmings World Tour - and I'm kind of surprised to read the difficulty "Extreme" here  (though I haven't looked at all of jkapp's solutions in detail). Extreme to me would imply it's harder than Lemmings Open Air and Lemmings Hall of Fame, which, as the original creator of this pack, I dare to highly doubt. :P

Speaking of, the reason I haven't continued converting Lemmings World Tour for SuperLemmix officially is because you stated that SuperLemmix physics aren't finalised yet. I noticed this with a few of the levels I had made for the SLX equivalent of Lemmings Hall of Fame (i.e., a Lemmings 2: The Tribes-inspired pack) - in between SLX 2.6 and 2.8, a few minor details seem to have been changed, so I had to redo a few of the replays.

I think I recall you stating that you were aiming for a stable version of SuperLemmix, SLX 3.0, by the end of the year. Are we still on course for that? ;) Just asking before I create too many levels, be it revising existing ones or attempting to make a dedicated SuperLemmix pack using the new skills it offers.

I assure you, the difficulty of most of your packs verges on the Extreme! ;P With that said, if you'd prefer to set the difficulty to something else, let me know what you have in mind and I'll by all means edit the OP title accordingly.

Probably not by the end of this year; I've updated the Release Schedule topic. It'll most likely be sometime mid-2025 that 3.0 gets released; I've put "summer" for now but as the year progresses I'll get a better idea of ETAs.

This is jkapp's modification of the pack, so I won't tell him how to judge the difficulty of his own modifications. :D That's me assuming it was him who picked the "Extreme" difficulty, not you as the developer of SuperLemmix?

Thanks for the update! I'm not in a rush to make a new pack, having just finally released Lemmings Hall of Fame.
That said, this also means it will take a while until I can create an SLX version of Hall of Fame.

This is probably for the best anyway, though, as it allows me to fix whatever backroutes NeoLemmix players might still discover in Hall of Fame, before converting the levels to SuperLemmix, rather than having to patch backroutes that are discovered later in both versions.

Just to clarify, are NeoLemmix 12.13 and 12.14 levels still compatible with SuperLemmix 2.8 (both the player and the editor), in the sense that player and editor can read and open them?
Assuming we haven't used any of the new NeoLemmix objects, such as portals, which SuperLemmix, as far as I can tell, doesn't have (yet)?

Yeah, that's jkapp76's assessment of the difficulty. I'd probably agree though! ;P

As dev, I respect that it's completely up to the author (and/or maintainer) to advertise a pack's difficulty as they wish. At the most, I may publish a post at some point with a suggested difficulty scale that people can use to judge their own and others' packs, and may retroactvely edit posts to match this scale with the author/maintainer's agreement, but I certainly won't just go ahead and change the advertised difficulty of someone else's pack. Just wanted to make that clear in case there was any doubt!

Correct. And, it will most likely stay that way.

If SLX does get its own format, it would be in name only (.sxlv, for example) so that it's easier to differentiate at a glance which levels are intended for which program (and, importantly, for easier file association with the relevant Editor). The Player/Editor would then be able to read and edit both formats, since they'd still actually be identical in terms of content.

I'll make a topic about this at some point.
