Hi there guys! I'm back again!

I post here because I'm needing of help. I need someone to translate some documents in German to English (or French if possible) from another game that is only in German language. It would be great if you could help me!

By passing, what's up guys? Did you miss me?
Are some of you tried Lemmings on PSP?

Have you heared my Lemmings1c song?

I'm fine! I didn't finish the school at Ubisoft: I missed!

I'll restart in September during 8 months and I hope I'll be accepted.

I can offer you a German to English translation, no French unfortunately.
Just tell me what text it is and whether the translation should be exact or only reflecting the meaning.

DragonsLover

Ok. Read carefully:

Download this file (30 mo): HERE and this little file: HERE

As you can see, this is Evil Keeper, a German expansion of Dungeon Keeper.

Inside the rar, you'll find all of this:
- BMP files: Less important, but it would be great if you do: there are some texts inside to translate (not the menus)
- Monster.dbt: Open this file using a Text editor or an Hexadecimal editor and you'll find some texts inside to translate
- DOC file: To translate entirely
- TXT file: Same thing
- INI file: Less important, but do the same thing. It's a tiny file.
- Start.exe: Less important, but it would be great if you do: just do the same thing as with Monster.dbt file.
- WAV files: Don't worry, you don't need to record your voice here! Just write down the english version of the voices in a simple Text file.

Just do simple TXT files, that will be enough (excepted the Doc file, of course).

I just hope that it isn't too much work! :embarassed: But thrust me, if you could help  me, then it will be so great!!! If you do: Thank you so much!

You must know that if I would understand German, I'll do it entirely myself. But for now, I don't. I can, of course, use automatic translators (like Altavista Babel Fish), but this is crap! :winktounge: I want REAL and GOOD translation!

Finally, when it's all done, just send me a zip or rar file with all the translated things inside. My email: dragonsloverATglobetrotter.net (AT -> @).

Ok, it's quite much, but I'll do that for you. Just give me a little time.

For the exe file, you mean the texts beginning at byte 0x00113600, right?

DragonsLover

For the EXE, in fact, I'm sorry: it's a wrong file. Forget it! :embarassed:

Download this single file: HERE

Inside the rar, you'll find DK.crt. It is in this file that there are some texts in the executable, it is why I was wrong. You will realise that this file is kinda big (8.59 mo) and looking inside for sentences will be long. So, here are what you must search for:

- Leider ist es uns
- Um die einzelnen
- Nun m?۳sen wir
- Jetzt k??nnen Sie

If you search for each of them, you'll encounter some parts of texts inside. This is what it is required to be translated. That's all. No much.

DragonsLover

Big thanks for the translation! It helped me! Thank you so much!

I'm still waiting for the voices translations and names of cities translations and it would be done! Hope it'll be ready soon!

I had sent it to you some time ago. Check your inbox.

DragonsLover

Here's what you said:

QuoteI'll do the waves and the jpg soon.

I'm still waiting. If you sent me another message, then I didn't receive it.

For the jpgs, that's ok, I don't need them. Only the .txt for the wavs and it will be over.

Strange, it's in my 'Sent Mail' folder for Jul. 24, sent to your address. I didn't get any delivery error either.

Anyway, I resent it, original content is quoted, txt files attached.

DragonsLover

I got it! Thank you very much!

There's just one thing:

Names of the cities aren't translated. Do you think you can do that?

Because: Frohenwalde, G??ntringen... What's that?
I like dragons! They're the center of my life! I'll never forget them...

geoo

According to the text, these towns exist in real. It will only hardly be possible to translate them exactly. I can give you some information how the names of the towns are built up of German words...
I should get it ready in a few minutes.

DragonsLover

Thank you so much for all the work!

But it is not over... :embarassed:

There is another expansion for Dungeon Keeper in German that I just received. However, there are less files to translate with few texts!

Download this file.

Inside, you'll see 5 txt files to translate. That's all!
