Well I haven't answered Finlay's question completely and correctly yet.

But if you insist:

(Amiga Lemmings) Name the level and its repeat in Lemmings that have both left and right one-way walls.

Oh, right.

Then I'll finish it for you. The last one-minute level is Five Alive.

QuoteName the level and its repeat in Lemmings that have both left and right one-way walls.
"They just keep on coming" (9 Tricky). The repeat is "One way or another" (6 Mayhem).

There are four ONML levels, excluding Tame, with at least one of every skill. This is quite a tough question, so I'm only asking you to name at least two.

Proxima

....great, why are my questions always too hard for everyone?  :huh:

geoo

Hmm, I played Lemmings and ONML far too few. :sad: I'd have to look it up, and that's most likely not the intension of this game.
So, just some wild guesses: 'Five alive' could be one, 'Lemming Hotel' had a strange skill distribution with every skill available IIRC, and then there was some long and boring snow level with five of each skill, but I don't remember its name/position.
EDIT: Just looked it up, it's Crazy 9, 'On the Antarctic Coast'.
EDIT2: More looking up, I was wrong with the first one, and right with my second guess. Hmm...

I doubt that this is enough to consider the question answered correctly...

But it is! I only asked for two out of four, and "Lemming Hotel" and "On the Antarctic Coast" are correct. The others are "Across the Gap" (Crazy 16) and "Creature Discomforts" (Havoc 7).

Your turn!  :cool:

geoo

It's just that I had to look up the name and the position of Crazy 9...
Somewhat strange that I forgot Havoc 7, a level I should remember actually. :wink:

Ok, the new question: Which tribes' lemmings (Lemmings 2) do not have green hair (according to the lemmings within the levels and assuming that there would be no shade-effects)?

ccexplore

The shade-effects thing is vague and confusing.̆ I know the Highland tribe has flaming red hair, that much is unambiguous.̆ The Shadow tribe definitely looks different from your standard lemming colors, but I don't remember for sure whether the hair still looks green or not, I just know it is of a darker color (which makes it harder to tell which color exactly!).

New question:̆ the 10 levels in Classic tribe in Lemmings 2 all use the same style (terrain and object graphics) as one of the Lemmings 1 styles, but on 2 of the 10 levels, there is an interactive object that is from the wrong style (ie. the corresponding style in Lemmings 1 does not have this interactive object).

Name (or describe, or reference a Lemmings 1 level) which Lemmings 1 style, name/describe the wrong-style interactive object, and name one of the two Lemmings 2 levels using this object.

geoo

You forgot about the Polar tribe whose lemmings have light blue hair. :wink:
Well, saying "assuming there's no shade effect" I meant assuming that the pixel color is the original color of the hair. It was very difficult to distinguish from the background which was blue, so therefore I assumed that the hair was blue. Just looking it up, it seems to be #202050, brightening it up #4040A0 which is definately blue-ish. :wink:

As for your question, too bad for me, it's far too long ago that I played the Classic tribe so far. Some time ago I re-played it trying to get 100% on level 4, but didn't manage that and therefore didn't go further...

Proxima

Answer to ccexplore's question:

The object referred to is the "flamethrower" seen on, for example, 2 Mayhem. One of the Classic levels using this object is "So close but so far away".

~~~
How many original (Amiga) Lemmings levels have parentheses in the title, and which levels are they?
finlay
2: "Heaven can wait (we hope!!!!)" and "Just a Minute (Part Two)"
Q: Name the seven levels with a death drop from the entrance. (an easy one?)
[BTW, I'm not sure if the answer is consistent across all the different versions of Lemmings]
LemSteven
Tricky 12 -- Bitter Lemming
Taxing 28 -- POOR WEE CREATURES!
Mayhem 1 -- Steel Works
Mayhem 10 -- Pillars of Hercules
Mayhem 21 -- With a Twist of Lemmings, Please
Crazy 11 -- No Problemming!
Wicked 15 -- Spam, Spam, Spam, Egg and Lemming
Which two levels in the original Lemmings feature the "10 Tons" trap?
covox
Taxing 2: "Watch out, there's traps about"
Mayhem 30: "Rendezvous at the mountain"
Q: Which levels in the original have an exit door hidden behind the terrain?
Proxima
Tricky 28: "Lost something?" is the only one.
Name all the levels on original Lemmings that contain a trap that only appears on that level.
covox
Close but no cigar. Fun 23: "I've Lost That Lemming Feeling" (and the duplicate which I can't remember the name of) have a hidden exit at the far right hand side of the level, under the X.
Shvegait
The repeat is, appropriately, "X marks the spot".
