Of course you have to get a nice board to have a chance of finishing in 2 seconds -- but then you've also got to do it! Do you think most people could have achieved that time on that board?

Why the sour face? Anyhow, I tried downloading that link but it doesn't seem to be in working order yet.....

My mouse isn't too good for minesweeper... :? although lower sensitivity might help.

EDIT: Nope. I guess i can't change the fact that my mouse sucks...

YES

Tetris Attack is probably my favorite game of all time. I've been looking for an engine to design puzzle mode levels with.

Hahaha. I thought that one time I passed the old Beginner (10x10, not 9x9) in 10 seconds was good. I mean, I'm playing it again and I'm setting at 62-262-X. I think too much, I guess.

I'm also a big poker player, as well.

How do you mean? The link works fine for me...

I'm just bitter about the program, it only seems to emulate the Time Trial mode of play, and, unfortunately, that was the least interesting mode. :(

You're right. I don't mean to diminish the effort. Just sayin' that layout is quite generous (three clicks?)

The best I seem to be able to do is 5 seconds. So far I'm at 5-74-617, though I've only passed expert once. There's so much luck involved that it's frustrating, but "chance favors the prepared mind" or something like that. You need to be lucky to even have a chance, and even then you've got to be very fast.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The link works fine for me but the program refuses to run. Not that I really care anyway if it only has the Time Trial mode.

Mr. K

I've heard such great things about Tetris Attack but never bothered to play it.  I mean, I play normal Tetris all the time.

BTW, The New Tetris (N64) > All other Tetrises

Isu

Well, Some people hail it as the best puzzler on the SNES.

Although, in my opinion, you can't beat good ol' Lemmings. :P

Looks like I'm not the only one who screws up on expert. The only way I can do it is to go really slowly... but then of course that takes forever. >_<

chaos_defrost

Awesome! I found a Tetris Attack puzzle mode stage designer! I have a few puzzles made, but I kind of want to try and make 60 progressively harder stages, like in the game.
