Custlemm Level Pack Topic

[MASTER-88]

Yeah level 4 is hard. There is nice plan and couple very hard timing. Level 5 is even harder. It is one hardest level for me. Of course 10 is hard one. I got 62%. this took me always tries. Sometimes i got 56-58%. But its not enought. It is just luck.

Yesterday i plan more levels. Now i have 25 custom levels. 15 more plan come later. I promise some my next levels are more harder than any other one. I post later my levels in imageshack. It will be took time.

My brother cannot solved my harder puzzles. He solved some easiest.
My next custom levels 19, 20 and 21 are really awesome plans. It can took lot time solved my master plans. :wink:
I always hope you guys can completed my every levels. We can see it.

I haven't played most of Master-88's levels yet, but I had a look at Challenge 21, as it was said to be one of the most difficult ones, and I solved it with both blockers, a miner and a digger left.

I really should get you to playtest my levels before I release them

I had some spare skills on level 21 as well. Though he did say that level is easier "if you know how" (but aren't all levels like this?)

I am planned more levels too. Couple last weeks i am are very busy. I send my new plans later here. Level 29 (pitfall part 2) is my new favorite one. It is really complicated plan but very short level. I think this level will be caused lot trouble with you guys.

Just played through clamspammer's 3rd pack. Most of the levels were fun, but I think I backrouted half the levels.
I can make replays of these if you want:
level 2 - had a climber left
level 6 - 8 floaters left and obvious backroute
level 7 - a few skills left over
level 8 - very simple level, but had some skills left
level 9 - make the block of steel near the exit thicker (I went through it)

Did you play the newer version of my levelpack? I made a few changes after geoo pointed out some major issues. I would like to see how you solved levels 2 and 7 (if you played the updated version) and also level 6, which I didn't change between versions. I didn't want to alter the terrain in level 8 too much to keep it true to the original. As for level 9... well, you've probably got too much time on your hands if you're testing the integrity of the steel

The version I played says you fixed the backroutes in it, so I assume that's the updated one. I'll send you my solutions for 2 6 and 7 tomorrow.

Wow. Your solution to level 9 is impressive indeed. It seems most of the backroutes in my levels arise when they try to make you take a "long way round" to go a short distance (the backroutes to levels 6 and 7 show this too). Then if you find a shortcut, you've got all those skills left over to get to the exit...

Thanks . Now I can see (sort of) where I'm going wrong. Incidentally, I've got a couple of weeks off now so I'll probably make some more levels - if Civ 4 doesn't get in the way too much, that is .

One more thing - how did you solve level 3? Geoo's solution was completely different to mine, but not a "backroute" by any means.
