Traditional Lemminas would be something we're still lacking, so I'd also prefer those!

I've already made a sprite set similar to your C type, because female lemmings with red shirts + blond hair is the standard combination for Lix.

I don't think I've shared those Lix sprites publicly yet, though. They are part of the sprite sets I'm preparing for "Lemmings, Drugs, & Rock 'n Roll".
But if others are interested in using them, too, I can share them early to avoid redundancy of similar-looking sprites.

Well, there certainly seems to be a healthy amount of interest in having traditional coloured Lemminas, so this will happen. I'll make them available as an optional spriteset, with instructions for how to implement them in a level/pack.

However, I'll likely use a different set as the official Lemminas II set, since I would like it to have its own look. D is looking promising, and it's a favourite of mine, but I do like the blondies as well...

It's a long way off yet anyway, so there's plenty of time to settle on something.

Thing is, I really want II to have its own visual theme. And, there's nothing stopping you modding your own copy if you want the classic pink gals I'll even give instructions for how to do this when I release the pack.

Pink hair might be cool. I'll likely experiment with a few combinations until I find something that feels right.

Possible idea, since the Traditionals are so popular:

Traditional Lemminas (B) as defaults, Sonic Lemminas (D) as athletes, Surreal Lemminas (E) as neutrals (to get the blondies in there) ... Badass Lemminas (F) as zombies? They're essentially rebels - don't exit, don't take orders.

Reasoning: athletes happen a lot, so it's worth having something equally cool for that state.

Counterpoint: it might be good to have the Traditional Lemminas follow "Default" lem colour scheme behaviour, so keeping these as a separate theme could still be a good idea.

If there's a way to override the zombie sound then I might just do this. The current one probs wouldn't really fit the theme, which puts me off the idea.
