Here are the levels in SuperLemmini format, click here for Lemmini versions

Well, it's been a loooooong time since I made any levels for SuperLemmini!

Proxima pointed out to me in the Repeat Levels topic that Fun 3 Tailor-made For Blockers is the only level in Fun without a repeat. And that Tricky 14 MENACING!! marks the "middle point" of all the repeat levels in the game (i.e. every pair of repeats has a level before and after Tricky 14). I realised that, with this being the case, Tricky 1 This Should Be A Doddle! is another level appearing in the first "half" of the game which also doesn't feature a repeat.

So! It's a joy to share with you my "Missing Repeat" versions of these levels. They'll work in SuperLemmini, but I recommend playing them in Lemmini if you want the intended "Timed Bomber" experience - see this post for the Lemmini versions. They're still fun to play in SuperLemmini, of course, and present quite a challenge particularly when played Pause-free (as they would have been on the Amiga).

Enjoy Lemmingaid Zero and Mind The Gap! :lemcat:

The .ini's you attached don't work for me either, but I loaded them up in my copy of the NL editor and simply re-saved them and now they work just fine in Lemmini. Here are the new saved files. Feel free to change the file names back to what you saved them as :P It complained that your file is read-only, and so I couldn't save them with the original name. I don't know how to fix the start position, though. I don't know how to extensively use a level editor just yet. I'll leave that to you ;)

edit: removed the .ini files in this post. See Reply #2 for the files to download.

Here are the levels in Lemmini Format

THANK YOU so much Kaywhyn, I really appreciate you providing these files. I've edited them to correct the start position and I've renamed them.

The only thing I can't figure out how to do is change the rank name from "test"... I'm reluctant to open the level in my copy of Editor 1.43 because I can only save in SL format from there.

Anyways, for those of you who want to give these a try with timed bombers, get yourself a copy of Lemmini if you don't already have one, and enjoy the levels that could have been!

You're welcome. I don't think it's possible for single levels that you open with "load level." I could be wrong, though. At least they're working in Lemmini! I went ahead and removed the .ini files I attached since yours are the official ones with the correct file names. My files were simply there for you to verify they work in Lemmini and for you to change the file names back to what you intended. Heck, I'm surprised that opening the files in the editor and resaving them was all it took to get them working. I'm slowly but surely learning the editor step by step, though of course I'll be learning and working with the New Formats one ;)

Which editor did you open them in? AFAIK, the new Editor can't save to .lvl or .ini...

I'm thinking of doing an Editor tutorial soon, let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like me to cover :lemcat:

kaywhyn

The v1.43n-C version, since that one still has Superlemmini support :P

Hmm... that's the editor I used to make these levels. I think I don't have the Lemmini styles set up and that's why it didn't work. Eric has sent some instructions so I'll have a look and get it sorted. It would be good to make a few more levels for Lemmini/SuperLemmini whilst there are others who still use the platform extensively.

Thanks again for your help!

You're welcome. Also just FYI eric, you could just hyperlink your dropbox link here. Seems like you didn't watch WillLem's formatting post tutorial video :P

Here's the tutorial kaywhyn is referring to, just in case you may find it useful :)
