I`ll watch all your videos and i will always commented when i pass it myself. I usually comment your yotube

Thank you, I appreciate that. It's good to know that someone is interested in the videos!

WillLem you are most taltented and one best lemming player ever in world

Thanks! That's very kind of you to say, I appreciate the compliment. Even so, I'm sure there are others just as good and even better who just don't bother to make YT videos! :lemcat: From what I've seen of your videos, you're also a very talented player. What are the controls on SNES, i.e. what does each button control in the game? The only time I've played Lemmings with a joypad was on the PS2 version years ago, and I found that very difficult, I couldn't really get used to it!

Also, although I may be fairly skilful when it comes to playing the levels pause-free, my actual solving ability is below the average on this Forum! I didn't complete Lemmings until I was well into adulthood, and even then I needed help from YouTube, and the old Prima Publishing guide!

Saying that, taking part in the more puzzle-related challenges (in particular, Skills You Can't Live Without and New Skills Only) is improving my solving abilities all the time, so who knows - maybe I'll be able to complete one of the harder packs on the Forums one day!

Next 99% Tricky 23?? I think its will some fun:XD:

I didi 97% and that was hardest solution tie like Taxing 28 90%. Both take me around 100 attempts.

Great idea, I've added this to the list for next time I get back into this challenge.

LOL That 99% was pretty much my fun joke. Im not even sure can this work on amiga version, but at least tested it on SNES you really can make it without pausing, but cursor moving and all other have to be one pixel perfect. Hit to right is around 1/10 000 chance. You will be cry when you attempt that.

Old max-% 97% is also really fucking hard and its not requires frame perfect timings, but you have to be really good to make this. I was very consistent make that with pausing, but without pausing this nearly make me mad

I will hope this video will help you make 97% (3 lost) on amiga.

About 99% (1 lost) solution its not work all version. IIRC Genesis not allow make this. DOS & SNES you can make it. Its actually easy one when you paused twice.

I think you have to first test can you make (1 lost) solution on amiga version?

Nice work! I'll likely play through the level a couple of times with pause first to gauge its potential no-pause difficulty. If there is a lot of click-and-hope moments, then it may not be good for the challenge on Amiga.

Anyways, I've added it to the list and I'll get round to it at some point. Got a few other things I want to get finished first 8-)

Can you explain the controls on SNES? Which button controls which aspect of the game?

MASTER-88

QuoteCan you explain the controls on SNES? Which button controls which aspect of the game?

Did you mean my SNES controlls?
Skill selection menu list is used Y & X buttons (X- move back & Y move front). And A button make lemmings use each skill. B button is not needed entire game.

You can also use cursor and A button in skill selection menu, but its like slower and pointless at least pause free gameplays. Just X & Y  moving is best and fastest way on SNES version.

BTW. Few more pause free challenges a today:
Tricky 24 Tightrope City (100% saved in 1 minutes) solution. This level is little bit longer on SNES version than many other versions. That requires perfect timing make it done under 1 minutes time limit and its little bit more harder make it without pausing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-9EuuPPSKo&ab_channel=metroidmaster88

Mayhem 30 Rendevouz at the mountain (100% saved under 4 minutes solution) 4.11/8:00 time remain. Its could be at least 15-20 seconds faster without pausing. I just set my goal under 4 minutes. Its surprisely short level and pretty fun level too. Its like little bit Mayhem 15 Fast Food Kitchen, both side working in same time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIM3A_5u_5g&ab_channel=metroidmaster88

I think both is some medium/hard difficulty levels. Mayhem 30 requires some focus and Tricky 24 little bit luck.

Though you can make mayhem 30 a lot easier if you use all 8 minutes time and work each site one by one. But i wanted make it done cooler and less 4 minutes.

Nicely done! This is a great optimisation of the solution I used; I particularly like your use of Bashers to speed up the exit-Builder. I might just have to give this one a try - added it to the list!

Yeah, that's the best way to play it. I'm pretty sure that's what the designers intended, but they gave loads of time leniency so it could be done one at a time as well.

MASTER-88

QuoteI take it you use the D-Pad to control the cursor?

Yes.

Okay few easy and one hard pause free challenge

Taxing 21 Feel the heat 1:05/2:00 time remain no pausing. Its take little plan, but that was easy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2eJppAy310&ab_channel=metroidmaster88

Taxing 22 Come over to my place (No floaters & blockers allowed) That requires me use upper route. Its also easy one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO5o5yAjrhY&ab_channel=metroidmaster88

Mayhem 18 Then there were four pause free 100% saved builders only.
That was really hard. I think its like par difficulty like Mayhem 21 climber first challenge. Just really much hard timings and extremely focus required. You have to move side to side quick like hell. Its just some memorize.

Good stuff, I like the additional challenges on these solutions. I'm not really in the mood for doing any PFPs at the moment, but I'm definitely going to come back at some point and do some of these myself on Amiga!

WillLem

In response to Proxima's Taxing 1-20 PFP, here are some NL solutions.

Taxing 16 Mary Poppins' Land 100% is possible in NL, but this was not done pause-free! Whilst it may be possible pause-free in theory, it would likely take many, many attempts and I just don't have the inclination! This replay is just to show that the solution is indeed possible.

Taxing 18 Tribute To M.C. Escher - well done for getting that "bridge block" done near the exit, I bet that was a very satisfying moment! However, here's a method based on your 100% solution which may have been a bit easier (and potentially uses less Builders); this is another one for me to come back to and have a go at on Amiga.

MASTER-88

QuoteIn response to Proxima's Taxing 1-20 PFP, here are some NL solutions.

Just see is there hidden exit Taxing 17 and also fun 23? I never are knew that before.:lem-shocked: Just looking it my SNES and yeah here it is. Just are play that game nearly 30 years and never are knew or see exit like this.:lem-shocked:

Also great stuff Taxing 18 its also news to me. Though here is several differents 100% solutions which are faster and easier to perform.

**************
Here is few more max-% SNES pause free added in playlist
Mayhem 25 Have a nice day 3:14/5:00 time remain 100% saved.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l20YUR3Epvo&ab_channel=metroidmaster88
Mayhem 26 Steel Mines of Kessel 95% saved pause free. That was little bit hard because there is few pixel perfect timings which are pretty hard perform without pause button.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEWOTxwED1M&ab_channel=metroidmaster88

I think i am pretty much done all coolest/possible max-% levels rightnow. I might make all levels max-% pause free guide in archive org later.  You nearly can perform all levels max-% without pausing expect some:

Tricky 23 (99%) Seems just theory possible, but i think too hard with humans. Just 3 lost is my best without pause.
Taxing 16 (100%) Seems also theory possible, but i think too hard with humans
Mayhem 2 100% Seems impossible without pausing, because heavy releaserate manipulations. 99% is confirmed possible.
Mayhem 10 (2 & 3 lost) seems impossible because a lot frame timings and releaserate manipulations. 4 lost seems just best possible without pausing and 4 lost is confirmed
Mayhem 19 (2 lost seems humanly possible, but its will contains around 10 or more pixel perfect timings in one row. I think its will be too hard for me. Here is my pause assist solution 2 lost:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGyKtVRqW1s&ab_channel=metroidmaster88
Sunsoft Special 2 Digger cancel is theory possible wihtout pausing game and its seems TAS only thing. I am making 100% on console, but its requires heavy amount pause button and whole 7 minutes real time. Thats TAS video without pausing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsQiAl8hWWk&ab_channel=snc76976

Otherwise no might troubles make any other levels max-% without pausing game.

Yes. Thats my 99% video. I mean without use pause button its might be impossible. Thats just pause free challenge topic. We talking about pause free challenge/solutions and pause free max-%.

Thats my 99% video which use pause button and yeah its very easy to make then.;)

3 lost seems just best possible without pausing game any time.

1 lost solution basher-miner swithching is extremely frame perfect without pausing game. I already test, its seems barely work, but might too hard perform without pausing.

I luckily got find much easier starting strat make 11 & 12 lemming floater and then climber. Not need turbo swithchin skills.

Tricky 23 From the Boundary line 99% saved pause free solution. That was so fucking damn hard. This video contain one failed attempt. Correct video start after 20 seconds.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9CEz3m3Z0A&ab_channel=metroidmaster88

And yeah this is done real SNES system and real SNES controlls used. Making this basher-miner cursor moving have to absolutely perfect. Already tested emulator and managed it 6 & 25% speed only and that was still very hard. Making this real time on real console this chance make this correct is so little. Its mostly pure luck. Its just frame perfect cursor moving

With this time its take me only around 90 attempts. That was very lucky one.
