Although, making the key minor instead of major seems to help a little.

Here's a version of the bridal chorus that is a little more funereal.  Maybe.

Perhaps that's what the groom hears in his head, as it sinks in that his wild bachelor days are, well, deceased. ;)

ccexplore

Hmm, some problems with that MIDI, try this instead:

Ok, I promise no more interruptions, back to Lemmings quizzing!

tseug

The other excerpt is actually a funeral march. ;)

I only know the name of the level, so I can't answer ahribar's question.

Proxima

OK. If no-one else answers, the name on its own will do.

"Lemmings in the attic"

What is the fastest non constant trap? (Out of sets 1-8) And how many frames does it last?

EDIT: A bit harder.

Leviathan

If I recall right it's the demolecularizer with 8 frames :)

ccexplore

Who the heck actually remembers how many frames any of the traps last?!? :o ;)

I'd guess the lizard traps in the "rock and grass" set, the action seems almost instantaneous.  I'd make a wild guess of 8 frames?

ccexplore

I'll throw in another guess here so I can go look up the answer after posting this.

The spike traps in the Columns set as seen in Taxing 4 seems like a good candidate.  I'll again make a guess of 8 frames.

For reference, 8 frames is the amount of time between the digger's strokes.

Well, I do; it's hard not to after all the work I did sequencing them for my Cheapo styles! Trouble is, the ONML ones were done for me in Pete's styles but I'm not 100% sure he kept the same number of frames. If he did, the answer is the lizard trap (5 frames) followed by the spike trap (7 frames).

Q: Many of the Genesis unique levels come in pairs re-using the same terrain. But which is the only pair that use *nearly* the same terrain, but there's a slight change?
(Since number and name proved too hard last time, name alone will do, but you must give the correct name of both levels.)

Come to think of it, how did you figure out the number of frames?  After all you said LemEdit doesn't work on your PC......

Or does ResEdit in Mac reveal all?

There are at least 2 such pairs I know of...to name 1 pair,it's FANL and FANL2...not difficult to know after redesigning both levels and having trouble with the key piece :)

To give exact names of the levels:
-Fall and no life.
-Fall and no life (part 2)

Q: What is the other pair that has a small terrain change?

Proxima

Oh, of course  ;)  And I know the answer to your question, but it's really my question so I'll leave it for someone else.......

tseug

Ahribar got it. It's the lizard trap in set 6 with 5 frames.

DragonsLover

Q. In the Lemmings Jukebox, in which song there's a part of the "Cowboy classic" song of two cowboys that are each in front of the other for a fight? Ya know what I mean?
I like dragons! They're the center of my life! I'll never forget them...

Jazzem

Track 14. *sniff* I love that tune, so many memories...

Q.What was the only stand-alone (w/o the original Lemmings) version of ONML to feature completely different box art?
