This could be more intended, but I begin to fear all the pick-ups give away the solution too easily.

Colorful Arty

Crane, your replay does not work on WaterWorks V9 unfortunately. :(

Icho, your solution is acceptable now. You still made it more difficult than necessary though.

Spoiler
In case you are wondering, you are NOT supposed to perfectly time the swimmers' distance from each other such that a stacker will get the second one up the bottom part. That timing is completely unnecessary with the use of a single other skill (NOT a cloner). ;)

Crane

Ah, I downloaded the pack before V9 was implemented.  I think I got the trick though, although my solution may or may not be a backroute on account of the last Cloner being somewhat arbitrary.

I would ponder about scattering the pick-up skills in multiple places that Lemmings will go, so as to disguise the intended solution a bit better.
Spoiler
I might even put a decoy pick-up on that platform to the left of the first stomper trap, enticing you to waste a Platformer to get over there - really, what drew me to the correct solution is working out where the Platformers have to be used, discovering I had one short and working out where I could spare one.

Update: I am withdrawing Tight Schedule from the contest, because at this stage I feel that leaving it in the contest will force me to delay LPVI's release to follow contest rules. To be clear, Latent Lodge is not being withdrawn, as it was created specifically for (and only for) the contest.

I am willing to make an exception here if you want namida. It's 100% your choice, but I don't think anybody would mind if the pack is being released within the voting phase.
Just say again if you still want it to be withdrawn, but as I said I think nobody would mind a slight exception here.  :)

Crane

I hope the level stays as part of the competition - I like how it falls together.

namida

I would rather no exceptions be made. However, I will leave the level in the contest (and undo the demo update that includes that level now) if a specific, permanent rule that addresses that kind of situation is implemented. I'll leave it to Icho to decide whether it should be or not.
My projects
2D Lemmings: NeoLemmix (engine) | Lemmings Plus Series (level packs) | Doomsday Lemmings (level pack)
3D Lemmings: Loap (engine) | L3DEdit (level / graphics editor) | L3DUtils (replay / etc utility) | Lemmings Plus 3D (level pack)
Non-Lemmings: Commander Keen: Galaxy Reimagined (a Commander Keen fangame)

I could state or specify an existing rule to only exclude levels which are part of an already released pack.

I see no problem that a contest has a level which is included in a pack that is released after the contest's playing phase has started.

This way the level's official release is still in the contest and not in the pack. Only maybe a few testers have seen it and it's still new and fresh for the contest audience.

EDIT: I modified Section 1 rule c). This already stated specifically that only levels with a prior release are to be excluded. I added the sentence that allows public releases after the beginning of the playing phase.

namida

Alright. I'd also say, by that definition, the demo is fine too, as it was updated after the playing phase begun.

Sorry to get back to you so late Crane. Your solution was amazing! You did everything perfectly, except you found a way to remove a cloner from the skillset! I simply removed a cloner pickup skill and lowered the save requirement by 1. Very well done!

Crane

Well, I'm honoured that I managed to evolve your level!  Can I just double-check that version 10 is correct? The pickup now only has 1 Cloner, whereas in version 9 it was 5, and I think it's now impossible to complete.

In the meantime, here's another replay for version 9.  With some more care in the lemmings I assign skills to, I'm able to save 9 lemmings, one more than necessary.

IchoTolot

Ok, now the V10 version is also in the pack and here's my solution to it. :)

IchoTolot

And the updates are closed now, in a few days the voting will begin. :)
