This set is for the new format, though there is a version for the old format included as well.

Tile Testin'
Difficulty - Lunatic (8/10)

One at at time
Difficulty - A bit hard (4/10)

The attached .zip folder contains the tileset, the levels above, and the music and sound effects to go with it. Read the readme within the folder to see how to install it. The second attachment is the style file for the old format; you don't need it if you are using the new format.
Feedback is appreciated. Enjoy!

Do you mean you already have an old style file, or would you have to create it on demand? ;) If you already have one, I'd suggest to just upload it, backwards compatibility is a thing, after all.

However, if you'd have to create it first, then don't do it just for me, of course ;) !

Personally, I am not going to move on to the new format until it has something added that makes it superior to the old version. Mere game mechanic changes like the deadly ceiling or new graphic sets don't really do that yet, because they're basically just different expressions of what you can already build with the old version (if I want a deadly ceiling in 10.13, I can easily make one out of fire traps or similar). I will consider it once the jumper and/or shimmier have been implemented. :)
My packs so far:
Lemmings World Tour (New & Old Formats), my music-themed flagship pack, 320 levels - Let's Played by Colorful Arty
Lemmings Open Air, my newest release and follow-up to World Tour, 120 levels
Paralems (Old Formats), a more flavour-driven one, 150 levels
Pit Lems (Old Formats), a more puzzly one, 100 levels - Let's Played by nin10doadict
Lemmicks, a pack for (very old) NeoLemmix 1.43 full of gimmicks, 170 levels

I do have the old format file already set up. In fact, I created it for the old format first and then used the converter tool, because I feel like the new version of the graphics set tool is inferior to the old one.
I'll attach the file for the old format to the initial post, if you want to use that instead.

Nessy

I have attached my replays for both levels below :)

Overall this is a pretty solid tileset  I especially loved the Bowser trap, gray block one-use trap, and the exit object. The Oh No! Brick-like terrain pieces along with the colorful blocks creates a nice balance between visuals and flexibility to shape any terrain.

Little tipp for the first main post here: Pictures make the topic look a lot more appealing to people and they are more likely to give the tileset a try. ;)

But I do have pictures embedded in the first post... ???
The levels are also full of backroutes. I stumbled across a bug in the player when trying to fix them, and have reported it.

I see no pictures there. Maybe you put in the image links in the wrong way.

I dunno what's up, the images are appearing in the post just fine for me. Maybe hosting them on Dropbox isn't the way to go.

Thanks, I've just downloaded it and will give it a try soon! :)

Boy, Lemmings World Tour will barely look like a Lemmings pack anymore, with all the new tilesets that have come out recently, because it's tempting to try and use so many of them... and the fact that I do a lot more graphic set combination to imitate real-world places certainly doesn't help either :D .

Now I am curious! Am I the only one here that doesn't see pictures, or do other people have the same problem? ???

Ryemanni

I can't see any pictures either, which is weird. Dropbox should work for images too.

nin10doadict

I may want to try a different image host, like imgur. That one seemed to work with the TA lava set from a while back, anyway. I'll get around to doing that and perhaps upload version 2 of each level in hopes that I've removed Nessy's backroutes.
Chances are there will be more, but so goes level design. :D

I think we can't see it if we aren't signed in (to Dropbox). I see this problem with Google Drive as well. People copy an image from their Google Drive, and they can see it in their post. Others however, cannot, if the file hasn't been shared with them.

I updated the teleporter and receiver graphics so they now appear distinctly different when flipped.
For the new format, you should be able to replace the images in the 'objects' folder of the style with the new images and the changes will take effect.
