I never knew the Donau was called 'Danube' in English. I didn't even recognise it. :P
Huh, I didn't even think of magic wand, surprisingly.
Looking forward to the next round! I hope I won't forget to check for it.

grams88

Well done Nessy, that is some score you got for that one.

I liked the card game question, it gets you thinking that one. It seemed to be between bridge or solitaire, I was thinking about hearts, spades which are two very good card games. Actually all the card games that got mentioned for that question are all very good card games.

For the first question I was about to say lemon then but I was thinking to myself there must be a more obvious answer to this one. There was a family fortunes UK game I remember playing but from what I remember about the game was whenever you were to type in the answer you had to spell it correctly. I think I was getting penalised for not getting the right spelling. :lix-sad:

Looking forward to the next one.

Aw, I forgot to click the button to save the message in 'Sent Items'. Why is that not default?... <.<
I'd appreciate it if the Quizmaster could send the message back to me, so I can keep my answers and considerations. :)

My messages -> Send message. Preferences -> Change settings. Enable "save copy in my outbox by default".

Yes, this is really dumb and it should always save. But I don't dare to hack the forum before Nessy has come up with a way to version-control the forum software.

The Quizmaster is very happy. He has a total of 11 submissions so far!

Don't forget that anyone that wants to participate still has the entire weekend to submit their answers.

@607: I have sent you answers back as per your request. The Quizmaster always looks out for his players :)

grams88

I wonder if we got more submissions for this one. It's actually quite fun the family feuds. I like being competitive, I think there are good ways and bad ways to competition. There was an interesting article I found about competition in general and in the article it was talking about bad traits in competition. Only problem is I can't seem to find the article again.

Quizmaster

Annnnnd we have the results! We had a total of 15 players in this time. The Quizmaster is very happy about this!

Nightmare! / Nightmare (0.50 pt) -- Colorful Arty, Simon

Should these be separated? They are different ranks; Nightmare! is the final rank of Lemmings Reunion; Nightmare is the final rank of Rubix's Lix levels.

NaOH

Hehe, this was fun. I'm surprised about the perfect split for the punctuation mark question! Its really surprising, how punctuation can be abused; so many different ways.

I'd rather let ccx host the next one if that's okay.

ccexplore

Hmm, kind of wondering if there's some way to make it work for me and NaOH to come up with 5 questions each for the next round, if only to make it easier and faster to get the next round going.  The only issue is I think one of us would have to abstain from answering (I'm fine with that being me) in order to prove no influence from seeing the other's answers.  Thoughts?

@Proxima: Good catch, but the question was asking only for the name that someone would give to their final rank, not the final rank of a specific pack. This is why they were scored the same. For example, "Hopeless" can be the name of a final rank for several packs, so it would not be practical to separate them. Sorry if it wasn't clear :(

@ccexplore: I like that idea, but we'll have to talk to NaOH about this because she mentioned that she wanted to pass it along to you.

Proxima

But in the case of "Hopeless", there are multiple final ranks with the same name. "Nightmare!" and "Nightmare" are different ranks with different names.

Nessy

I can understand what you're trying to say now. To be honest I'm not sure now, maybe someone else can chime in?

This is loony. Let's do it!
