Just working on converting my packs to the new formats now, and I notice some of the translation tables (specifically those for Desert and Psychedelic) incorrectly reference "namidai_xxxx" instead of "namida_xxxx" in the object sections. This causes levels using the affected objects (Desert radiation and Psychedelic teleporter / receiver) to not load / convert correctly.
I deleted the Desert radiation reference and fixed the Psychedelic teleporter/receiver.

In the styles, specifically LPV Honeycomb, there are issues with the "Zombee" object. You may want to double-check the object is included and that it's got correct translation table data (by the time I thought to mention this here, I'd already fixed it in my copy. I don't know if any levels outside of LPO2 have actually used that object, though.)
The bug is only in the translation from lpo2_stuff.dat, not in the actual honeycomb style. This is fixed, but I doubt anyone besides you is affected.

I'm also wondering why the term "Exploder" rather than the more-common "Bomber" is used in the editor?
There is basically no reason, beyond that I feel that "exploder" describes the skill better and wasn't aware that "bomber" is preferred.

I noticed that the title screens look very different (=worse in my opinion) now. The format "level title, number of lemmings, number of lemmings to be saved" etc. that we're used to from normal lemmings seems missing.

In the old player, all this information would just "drop into place" on the title screen, based on the numbers you set in the editor. Has this been changed now so that it has to be entered manually by the level creator? The post-level screens still look like usual, so I'm a little confused about the purpose of this change :/ .
My packs so far:
Lemmings World Tour (New & Old Formats), my music-themed flagship pack, 320 levels - Let's Played by Colorful Arty
Lemmings Open Air, my newest release and follow-up to World Tour, 120 levels
Paralems (Old Formats), a more flavour-driven one, 150 levels
Pit Lems (Old Formats), a more puzzly one, 100 levels - Let's Played by nin10doadict
Lemmicks, a pack for (very old) NeoLemmix 1.43 full of gimmicks, 170 levels

Nepster

Sorry, but I don't understand your problem. I see the preview screen as attached. Is this missing for you, or are you missing another screen?

Strato Incendus

No, they look exactly like that to me. Is this the new standard now, or is there just more freedom left to the level creator on what the preview screen looks like?

Because now, al the information is squashed in the middle, rather than the traditional format with tab spaces:

"
Level 01 Smile if you love Lemmings

Number of Lemmings 20
40 To Be Saved
Release Rate 50
Author Nepster (optional)
Rating: Comet"

You know, just the standard format preview screens used to have in original lemmings. ;) Is that still possible to do? Because this way, although it reduces the information a lot, the title screen just looks very "empty" to me. There's lots of blank spaces everywhere except for the centre.

Lemmicks, a pack for (very old) NeoLemmix 1.43 full of gimmicks, 170 levels

Nepster

Well, you still have all that information on the current screen. And yes, this is now the standard. It has one major advantage: It has enough space to display talisman info there, too, which actually happens now.

Strato Incendus

Okay, Talisman info is a point, but it seems to me that even with an additional line for talisman info, it still looks very "compressed". From my feeling of aesthetics there could be a little more vertical space between the individual lines (i.e. also between the title and the rating). Like one vacant line between each written line.

What do the other guys think? ;) We may not be sticking to original Lemmings philosophy or mechanics, but I for one certainly enjoy original Lemmings aesthetics :D , meaning the levels should still look like "real" Lemmings levels designed by DMA. And that includes the title screen. If they're mechanically more witty and thereby superior to what DMA could come up with, all the better. :) But I'd still like my packs to look like an official Lemmings game; that's why I also design my rank signs to look similar to the original white "Fun/Tricky/Taxing/Mayhem" font on the green background.

  - namida_machine: locked exit sprite is now much better and can be used without the exit piece
  - stacker sprite: Replaced the default one with Raymanni's new one.

Corner case question on the currently implemented version of deadly ceilings (Yes even these don't avoid them ;)):

What about a Lem walking ~ 3-4 pixels under the ceiling on flat terrain. What will he do when he hits a vertical wall that reaches the ceiling? Will he try to step up and die or simply turn?
