[NeoLemmix] Lemmings Stampede

1 year in the making! 50 levels in 5 ranks. A big thanks to Nepster and IchoTolot for doing the majority of the testing.

(To get the music to work simply put all the tracks in the music subfolder where your NeoLemmix.exe is stored. If the folder doesn't exits yet, simply create a "music" subfolder where your NeoLemmix.exe is located.)

Just played through Tame. These are fun levels so far, and I'm looking forward to continuing with the pack. I only have a couple of criticisms so far. For one thing, the exit on Level 10 is missing its flag :P

This is mostly a personal peeve, but in levels that use the classic 8 skills and only one or two are missing, it annoys me when the skill is removed, as then it takes a moment or two to look at all the skills and work out which are missing, whereas if you leave a gap then I know instantly. I know namida has been pushing for removing the skills, so maybe it's worth having a general discussion somewhere.

lol... I don't think I put flags on any of the snow levels :-[. Oops! I will fix that in a sec. Glad you like the levels so far!

Seems like I have more levels to play and they are looking very good :thumbsup:

EDIT: Replace the 0 at the end of your music download link with a 1 and it will be directly accessable 8-)

NL does this automatically these days; it isn't something bulletride has done.

I don't have to mention that most timers here are irrelevant and could be culled, but doing it anyway ;P

Level 1: I think I backrouted that one.

Level 2: Decivingly hard, even though I relativly fast realised that only the upper path can be successful. Really enjoyed the music! :)

Level 3: Very good level :thumbsup:  I spend some time on it until I realsed that I could indeed build over the bottom trap from the right :XD:  The music was not my taste here (sounded too much like tinkling).

Level 4: Excellent level that I remembered from möbius stream :thumbsup:    Again great music track!

Level 5: The way redherrings are used here is excellent! I even tried going through the bottom and getting to the exit from the right! :thumbsup:

Level 6: First I thought that this would be fiddly, but no clean and nice solution! :)

Level 7: Good level, even though the trap isn't the main part there in my opinion. ;) Here the music even got on my nerves :devil:

Level 8: Well, I know that one ;P

Level 9: Excellent level, which makes great use of the temporary basherstaircase (makes me getting ideas for own levels as well ;))! Left me baffled for some time! :thumbsup::thumbsup:  I ran out of time on level 9. Is the timer there to enforce the 2nd miner builder combination?

Level 10: If this is intended it's awesome. :thumbsup: Again many possibilities here, which can leave you guessing! That little builder step trick is a thing I might consider using as well ;P Liked the music a lot. :)

Level 1 - I thought I fixed this already! nice catch will fix asap.
level 2 - You back routed this one too! Shouldn't be too hard to fix

The rest of the levels were completed correctly! (phew)

Level 9 - yes the time limit was to force the second build/miner. its usually only 30/20 seconds left on the timer so maybe i can make some part of the level slightly shorter to make it slightly less tight. I will probably remove the timers from the rest of the levels as they are not really needed.
level 7 - I just wanted to make a pun involving traps and wells :p
level 3 - I can change the music for this level, wanted to find a non copyright piano song for the pack but its hard to find a decent one.

Yikes, that's obnoxious :( Can you add an override for packs that use only the classic 8 skills?

Getting back on-topic, I've played through Crazy, solved all but two. Feedback:

5: Unsolved. This is much too hard for Crazy, especially when the next level is nearly trivial.
7: Basher-digger staircase, one of my least favourite tricks due to the precision required. Still, it was a good puzzle working out how to save all three groups with only 3 builders.
8: Unsolved.
9: Replay attached in case it's a backroute, this was very simple.
10: Replay attached to show the route I took. Not happy about the fact that the worker lemming's second bridge goes over a thorn, making an unclimbable step and forcing me to redo the entire solution to bomb the thorn.

Thanks for the feed back! I can fix these issues with Icho's back routes.

Level 5 - I will move it up a ranking. It isn't that hard a level I thought but it seems to give people trouble.
Level 7 - shouldn't require too much precision. you can dig and bash away the entire block and then just simply build up. or you can make a wide pit with diggers and build up that way. You probably over-complicated it!
level 8 - This level is another one that I wasn't sure where to place, I may have to re order this one as well in the future.
Level 9 - This level I can probably drop to a lower point in the ranking. I was pretty generous with the skills on this one. (maybe remove a few builders)
Level 10 - I will remove the thorn. This level has like a million ways to beat it so I never even though it would get in the way lol.

Re-uploaded the NXP on the main post. Fixed first 2 Havoc levels as well as some level re-ordering/minor fixes.

Rsolved the 2 Havoc levels :)

1 seems ~ intended, but 2 I think is an even bigger backroute now :P

Also could you reset the level id of Havoc 5 to a new one? (There is a button for that in the editor) The Mass Replay checker matches it with the Wild version and gives out that the replay has failed. I suspect you simply altered the level and saved it under a different name ---> keeping the same id.

I even should have pointed out earlier that I played the levels on the exp version :P

I reset the id on level 5. Level 1 was a backroute so I fixed that. re uploaded.

Level 2 ughhhhh. Going to be a pain to fix this without making it look hideous with steel. Ill deal with this one later :(

2: Nice, little tricky level :)

3: Liked this one a lot :thumbsup:

4: Don't know if this is intentional, but I find my solution awesome 8-)

5: Good level with that dig, bomb trick at the start :)

6: Great level + great msic :thumbsup:   buuut the music's quality is the downside here! The cut off spikes that can be heared irritate a lot. Maybe find a version of the song in a better quality ???

7: Loved that one :thumbsup:

8: I really find the music the bomb here ;) (enough with the puns). Great level which requires a excellent sense for timing.

9: Not bad but also not my favorite.

10: We could be in backroute heaven again :P

Havoc 1: Didnt think about builder turn around on the chain. removed!

Wicked 1: hack job indeed! fixed!
2: Not how I intended it but Ill let it slide since I can`t really prevent it lol.
4: Not intended but great solution! Ill leave it in.
5: Removed the bomber. Ill have to steal that solution for a future level :p
6: music changed!
8: Made the gap to build over bigger
9: removed a blocker
10: Made the pit bigger

I also fixed havoc 2. I don`t really like how I fixed it but I can`t think of a better way to block it atm.
