Might still be a backroute as its probably what the triangle steel piece was trying to prevent, but with some fiddling I got around it. Cant think of another way to beat it for the life of me though! Tough level

Not exactly the intended solution, but I would consider this an acceptable alternative. :)

I like the change you made with the blocker location, being able to block at the start seemed a little too easy. However, I may have found another backroute. I don't think I'm supposed to be able to go over the castle (I'm guessing the intended solution is to go under), and I didn't need the blocker pickup.

Nice! I like the change you made with the arrows. Much better. I like this solution better, I used my floaters this time.

The Doubly-Hard-For-Flopsy Level V3 - Namida

I like the update. Were the duplicators part of the puzzle, or were they a red herring? I used them to meet goal, but they weren't really part of my solution. That aside, I really like the changes. I used the air current this time :thumbsup:

Woo! Played "Great Scott! V3" and "The Doubly-Hard-For-Flopsy Level V4". Fairly confidant my solutions are not backroutes, these solutions feel pretty intentional. Hopefully that's the case. Both are really fun levels :laugh:

Also, I played Muddy Stairs by Dullstar!

Really cool level, I like the style. There's something really cool about this color palette. I feel like there's probably a smarter, more efficient solution than mine, but my brute force attempt is the only solution I could think of at the time. This is a nice compact and fun little level. Nice work :thumbsup:

Your solution is definitely close enough to the intended one. :) I could probably block this if I want, but unless more major backroutes that'd also be blocked by the fix come up, I don't think it's nessecary.

In particular, you got the use of a constructive skill at the top of the floating wood blocks, and using a cloner to get a lemming in place to use that skill, to prevent climbers from entering an infinite loop. :) The intended solution sets this up a bit differently, but still uses the same four skills (cloner, builder, platformer, miner) to achieve it.

since it seems like participation is dying down, should we close the playing/updating phase soon? I propose a week from now, closing sometime from Friday-Monday. [maybe sooner if people wish but I think Friday sounds early enough]

When it does; (or before it does) make sure the latest version of your level you've uploaded is one your happy with; people will be voting based on that.

Just had a chance to watch the replay. While not identical to the intended solution, it's close enough - you distributed the skills a little differently, but you still performed all the key elements of the correct solution. I could probably remove it by being a little stricter with the skillset, but there's probably not much value in that. I've attached a replay of the intended solution.

I'm honestly not sure if there's anyway to backroute this level that wouldn't at least operate on the same principles as the intended solution. Of course, now that I say that I'm sure someone will find a way :P.

Finally got around to seeing zanzindorf's replay for GREAT SCOTT V3. Nicely done! That was NOT what I intended, but it was definitely clever enough to allow as a solution. :thumbsup:

Well I wanted to replay+record the updated levels this weekend. So I would like it to remain open for at least that time and I also think some people are still trying their luck on solving the levels. There is no need to rush here!

Here's my replays for the updated / newly added levels up to where I was previously up to.

BulletRide's "Hard Hats Required"
Not too different from before. Maybe a bit easier since release rate fiddling could be ruled out.

Colorful Arty's "Great Scott!"
Feels a lot like an Orig Mayhem level. Not bad; I definitely enjoyed this one, even if it wasn't too challenging. Although I had to collect the blocker along the way, I didn't need to actually use it.

Dullstar's "Muddy Staris"
I didn't really like this one. It was mostly just a matter of "repeatedly assign tasks to delay the lemmings" rather than any clever containment trick as such.

I didn't play Flopsy's updated level, firstly because it was unclear whether my solution was actually a backroute or not, and more importantly because the latest update hasn't been included in the NXP yet. If it hasn't been by the time I complete the remaining levels, I'll play it as a single level.

Quite easy, but very nice nonetheless! :)

IchoTolot's "Victory Is Inevitable!"
Very nice level, though much easier than I'd expect an Icho level of this size to be. :P I also notice it has a similar feel to it as Icho's previous contest level "Lemming In Unison", albeit not nearly as hard.

rtw's "I Get Around"
Alright, first, I have to question whether this level can really be defined as meeting the criteria. You have 51 lemmings (since there's a cloner) but only have to save 50.

That aside, my solution is almost certianly a backroute. It doesn't use the cloner (except to meet the save requirement), and also has a few skills left over - and could have one more builder left, if I didn't make a splatform that turned out unnessecary (might not even have been in the first place, even if lemmings had made use of it).

Not really much to say about this one. It wasn't a bad level, but was nothing special either.

Ichotolot's "The Next Evolution Of Lem" (unsolved)
I'll come back to this one. I got solutions that came close, but each time, it turned out there was one little detail much earlier in the solution that screwed it up. I was getting too frustrated with this (especially since this is a level where the solution's duration in game time is well into the double-digits of minutes), so that's why I'm putting this one aside until I'm done with the others. I do like the concept, but I'm not very convinced this level pulled it off well.

mobius's "It's Turbo Time"
Music appears to be broken on this level, unless it's meant to be silent. As far as the level itself goes, this isn't really too different from the original.

rtw's "Not All Heroes Wear Capes"
FUCKING LOVE THIS CHOICE OF MUSIC, BOJACK HORSEMAN FTW!!!!!!!

Pretty sure my solution was a backroute, though. If not, this was very easy.
