How did you find out about Lemmings?

It can be hard to remember, I know. I think It was from my uncle that I first heard about lemmings. What about you?

Conway

I found it first on the Sega Megadrive. That was before I got a computer.

Shvegait

I think my older brother got it (for DOS) off a bulletin board or something... I don't remember, I was only 5 or 6 when we got it :)

I don't think we ever had a "legitimate" version of it. Oh well.

Proxima

It was being given away when you subscribed to the magazine MacFormat.

My friend showed me lemmings when I was about 4. &#A0;I remember that then it liked it because of:

the landscapes were neat - 86%
the puzzles - 14%

Two years later...

landscapes - 65%
puzzles - 35%

now-

landscapes - 47%
puzzles - 53%

I somehow find myself wanting to appreciate the game more for its mysterious landscapes again...it seemed more fun that way &#A0;X_X. &#A0;Ah well.

EDIT:  That reminds me - before I got lemedit and made an important discovery (which was only about one and a half years ago or so), I didn't know that there were terrain pieces - I thought that each level was uniquely made instead of made up of various pieces that were put together.

Conway

Did you know that 72% of all statistics are made up on the spot?  :-/

Timballisto

lol.

Well what else exactly would you have those things expressed as?

It's not like I measured it, so I had to go from memory  X|

One day I just walked into game(last year) and started looking 'round the 'all games &#A3;5' shelves. The packaging caught my eye. I looked on the back and thought 'Puzzles saving cute green and blue thingies... Neat...' I bought it, took it home and began playing. My Dad had a great deal of trouble dragging me off the computer that night, I can tell you ;)

Andi

I played it at a friend when I was in the first year of secondary school. It was an old monochrom monitor and must have been a 286. I wanted to copy it, but the floppy drive was damaged. So I couldn't play it for about 2  (or 3?) years.
Someday between these 2 (or 3?) years I heard Psygnosis has closed and I thought: "I'm such a dumbass! I already had internet and I knew Lemmings was published by Psygnosis! Why the hell didn't I thought of ordering it?"
Then another friend told me he has somewhere a CD with lots of old DOS Games. Probably also with Lemmings. He gave it to me and... WHohoooo! Lemmings!

But I still never played it through. X_X maybe because I always lost my levelcodes.

DragonsLover

Simple, my brother played this game on Atari ST and I was interested to play. So, I played!
I like dragons! They're the center of my life! I'll never forget them...

Hi guys! &#A0;I'm back after a several-month-long hiatus! &#A0;I've been very busy with school recently, and I haven't had time to play or talk about Lemmings. :'( &#A0;Now that the semester is winding down, I am able to play Lemmings again! :)

I first got the original Lemmings and ONML from a uncle. &#A0;Since then, I have received many more Lemmings games for Christmas and for birthdays.

Timballisto

Nice to see you back...Andrew had the same problem.  I wonder if his finals are over.

Lemika

Demo, I believe. Other than that, I'm not really sure. I've been playing at least the demo since I was three or four, so I really don't remember where it came from.
Ah well.

I do remember when we got all the others, but that wasn't the question.

Proxima

Eek, no apostrophe! What happened to it? I rather liked it..........
