Story: http://masteroflimpich.com/

Description
The style of the game is arcade game, a puzzle with simple rules and difficult tasks. The game`s purpose is rather easy: your squad should achieve destination and try to survive at the same time. Methods and techniques depend on you. The members of the squad will ALWAYS follow your orders unquestioningly. You`ll meet different tasks: from checking your savvy to the places you should demonstrate your skills. You will discover the kind of these fascinating tasks by yourself.

Game`s features:
You will see fourty levels divided to four disricts (forest, desert, land and factory).
For successful passing of the level you need only one limpych.
But for getting the maximum number of points you should have all the limpyches. That`s why you need to use all possible ingenuity and agility.

Looks interesting; I'll have to check it out at some point. :)

I would like an explanation of why the Android version of the game requests for the following permissions:

QuoteDevice & app history
   •read sensitive log data
SMS
   •receive text messages (SMS)
Phone
   •directly call phone numbers
Microphone
   •record audio

Generally I stay away from games with questionable permissions, and I suspect I won't be the only one.  I'd strongly suggest removing permissions that the game doesn't actually need, or provide a brief explanation of how they are used in the bottom of the app's Description section on the listing page.

That said, nowadays I play Android games almost entirely on an emulator on the PC, so for the most part the permissions won't have any effect.  So I'll probably try out the game there.

Thanks a lot for the reasonable feedback!
Most of permissions you note we requested by advertising library! And you right it's inacceptable for most of games!
We party solve this problem and remove most of those permissions in new version 1.2 released today.

I'm not really one to *overly* fuss about this in the first place, but for those who are, I'd imagine they see it as especially bad when it's advertising systems, rather than the app itself, requesting these kind of things... :/ But if as you say, you've taken out that, then no problems. :)

I finally had a chance to try it out (Android version) briefly and will try to write about it more later when I have more free time.  Overall it has potential, although even playing just the first few levels I have already found myself getting slightly tripped up every so often, due to things working 90% like Lemmings but then not quite.  For example, on the 4th level the natural thing a Lemmings player would do is to assign blocker and then assign bomber to the blocker to blow it out.  However in this game it looks like bombers cannot be assigned to blocker, and doing so caused the blocker to be released instead (as if you simply click on them rather than trying to assign the bomber skill--of course, the blocker release behavior is also new to this game, though I don't see that as a bad thing once I understand it).

I also wonder if the game may be starting out a little harder than it needs to be.  I haven't measured it for real but I think the limpychs move at a speed that's a little faster than Lemmings do in its game.  And the ordering of some of the early levels are a little strange--eg. level 1 introduces digging and mining at the same time, and then level 2 just features mining alone and is more straightforward than level 1?

Anyhow, nothing so far that I would consider a dealbreaker, but I do think I need to spend a little more time on the game to get more used to how things work there.

P.S. When you pause the game while inside a level, currently you only offer options to resume, restart, and go all the way back to the main menu.  There should be an option to go back to the level selection screen rather than all the way back to the main menu (just so I have to tap on "Play" there to get to level selection).  You may also want to consider putting an option to bring up help when the player paused the game, instead of having to go to the main menu screen to get to that.  Indeed now I think of it, there's really no need to go all the way back to the main menu from pause when it's more convenient to simply surface all the main menu options during pause.

I'd be curious to hear what you think.  The last time I tried it, as you saw in my comments above, some things I like and other things not so much.  And since it wasn't quite at "holy cow most awesome thing ever" level and I have been busy in real life I haven't looked at it again yet, but then it has been updated at least 2-3 times since my last try, so maybe some things have improved.

I had a quick go on it. Doesn't seem too bad, though I do agree that the movement speed is a bit on the fast side for an IRS game. It's also somewhat confusing that skill names that appear in Lemmings do different but related things here, "Mine" would be the best example. Of course, someone who doesn't come from a Lemmings background may not have this problem.

I like how you have the option of either clicking the skill then the limpich, or clicking the limpich first then the skill. :)

No offence, but the music is really annoying (so far, at least).

Overall, I'd say it's not bad, and I'll definitely play it some more eventually. :)

2ccexplore: Thanks a lot for the feedback!
You absolutely right about button to select level from in-game pause and having in-game help - this is something that were asked by several other users - and this is something that we are going to include in one of the next version.

About difference in skills - yes this is not 100% copy of lemmings  - we used idea in general, but with some chnages either in logic, physics and so on.
And the same reason - why we can't simple reduce spee do limpich : if we simple reduce game speed, we'll have to rebelance and recheck all 40 levels. Some levels has really difficult condition to achieve all 5 starts - and time to complete the level - give you at least 1 star.. it means that after changing moving speed we'll not able to complte some levels in time. So we are going to leave speed as is.
"It's not a bug. It's a feature" ;)

2namida: Thanks for the feedback. I already answer about movement speed, sorry but nothing to do with it.

2All: Thasnks for you feedback and playing. We'll continue work on the project and we hope to make next 20 levels ;)
