Well, the one for LPII went well, and I figure more people will have played LPDOS completely and have favorite levels, so why not do one for that too?

So, the format will be basically the same as the LPII one was, except 15 levels at a time (with 3 votes) instead of 10 or 11 at a time.
Remember that in most rounds, you get more than one vote if you want! If you vote for less levels than the maximum, you cannot add other votes later!

General
Voting for each round closes when I decide to close it. I'll leave the first few open for a while, to see how active they get and how quickly, and decide on the rest from there. If you're finding it moves too fast, let me know.
You're allowed multiple votes in most rounds. You do not have to use all of your votes.
This will be based off the V7 level set.

Warning
The poll is set to allow 3 votes per round - there is no way I can change this. Please carefully pay attention to the number of votes allowed.

First Round
The levels are divided into 10 sets, each set being half of a rank. In this round, each user gets three votes.
All levels tied for first place qualify for the next round. If there is less than three of them, all levels tied for second place also qualify, as long as this will not bring the total number of qualifying levels to more than five. (More than five may qualify if they are all tied for first.)

Second Round
The qualifying levels from each rank are played off. In this round, each user gets one vote per four levels that have qualified for that set (rounded to the nearest whole number, .5 is rounded up). For example, if 9 levels have qualified, each user gets two votes.
All levels tied for first place qualify for the next round.

Third Round
All the qualifying levels are played off. In this round, each user gets one vote per four levels that have qualified for the round (rounded to the nearest whole number, .5 is rounded up). For example, if 7 levels have qualified, each user gets two votes.
All levels tied for first place qualify for the next round. If there is only one, all levels tied for second place also qualify for the next round. If there are two, all levels tied for second place also qualify for the next round, unless this would bring the total number of qualifying levels to more than 4. If there are three or more, second place is not considered.

Final Round
The qualifying levels from the third round are played off. In this round, each user gets one vote.
If there is an outright winner, that level has won the voteoff. If there is a tie, this round is repeated between the tied levels, until either there is a clear winner, or no further levels are removed (ie: all levels from the first tie, tie again) in which case the voteoff result is a draw between these levels.

Okay, so, first round  http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" class="smiley" />  I like the first half of Mild, which starts off with very easy but short levels, and has a good progression (unlike, for example, Tame, which doesn't progress in terms of skill required, and has several long and very easy levels). None of the early levels really stands out from the rest, so I voted for 5, 11 and 12 (5 is a somewhat harder level that comes earlier than it should), with 13 and 14 being very close contenders.

namida

My votes for this first round went to levels 1, 12 and 14.

Level 1? A level that solves itself? Because it still amuses me how I took the "pathetically easy level" concept to the extreme with that one. (In fact, it wasn't the generic filler levels you sometimes see that gave me the idea - rather, I got the idea from a Ducks level I made a long time ago, which looked hard but - purely by accident - if you completely left it alone without touching anything, it would solve itself for you. I didn't want to make the first level even look hard, though.)
Level 12, it seems to be more or less consensus that this is a good level - everyone who has voted so far has put one of their votes towards it. It's also probably the first level that has quite a large variety of possible solutions - you can build a landing place, dig down and build across the gap, go to the left then come back, or even go through the terrain hanging down. And probably a few more ways, too. (True, level 6 allows for a bit of variety in solutions, but nothing compared to what this level allows.)
Level 14, it's more that I like the design than the play of the level. With these easy ones, there's not that much to choose from, after all. Plus, I freaking LOVE this level's repeat. xD

As you can probably guess, the first four ranks are meant to roughly correspond to Fun, Tricky, Taxing and Mayhem from the original, with PSYCHO being kind of a post-Mayhem (kind of like Sunsoft on some versions). So, Mild is modelled more off Fun than Tame, except without training levels.

So our first place was On The Pier, with second place being a tie between The Graveyard and Let's Go.

New round is up. My votes for this round go to Up To Where We Go, The Quarantine, and You Just Lost The Game.

I voted for:

Labyrinth of Despair -- I love multi-entrance levels. In fact, I couldn't resist remaking this one for Lix. And then I set it to 3 of each skill (that includes the new Lix skills) and it turned out to be a really elegant and difficult puzzle!  http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/thumbsup.gif" alt="" title="Thumbs Up" class="smiley" />

Russian Rescue -- Definitely the best puzzle level of the current group. It's fairly simple, as its position in the set indicates, but the route is well-hidden at first and so very satisfying when you see it.

A magician would be handy -- In spite of my general dislike of glitches, going through the steel on this level was great fun  http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/tongue.gif" alt=":P" title="Tongue" class="smiley" />

namida

Have you tried completing Labyrinth with only one builder? That was one of the most interesting challenges I've had so far.

New round is up. I voted for No Need To Worry, Only One Place To Go and Counterlogical. (I'm sure the middle one was fully expected; it is after all one of only two proper puzzle levels (along with Russian Rescue) in Wimpy.)

New round is up. For the first time in this voteoff we only had two winners from the previous round - Fallen (completely expected - in fact, I'm expecting either it or No Time To Die to turn out as the final winner) and Shooting Star (somewhat surprising).

My votes this round go to The Oddstack, This Is... and Lemmingsense - though I had a hard time choosing between The Oddstack and Eye Of The Lemming. What it really came down to was that, after not touching Lemmings for a few years, when I played again Eye Of The Lemming was quite simple. On the other hand, The Oddstack was very challenging even for me. I'd say it's by far the hardest level in Medi, possibly even the hardest non-PSYCHO level in LPDOS.

EDIT:
Looks like we might be on track for only one level to qualify from this round, unless some of the levels tied for 2nd get some more votes.

I voted for Oddstack, The Diving Board and Lemmingsense. I love the appearance of This Is..., but I don't like the fact that most of the level is unused.

That's no reason to go straight on to the next round. Some people (including me) won't have gotten to vote because of this.
