Awesome! I know Strato will like this very much. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, especially since I finished the Old Formats version of the pack, which I know you are LPing, a few months ago. Other than the Groupie rank, I don't know how much more of my replays Strato has watched. He recently released an update for some Groupie levels, but some of them I still backrouted in their latest version, so he will likely release an update for those levels at some point long before you even get to that rank.

In my experiences, I only found a few levels difficult in each of the 6 main ranks. However, solving time slowed considerably in both the Rockstar and Legend ranks, especially the latter. The Encore rank was very easy for me, but only because I have played Lemmicks, Pit Lems, and Paralems all in their entirety. The rank is pretty much just levels from those packs whose titles happen to be the name of songs. Coincidentally, there happen to be 40 total such levels from all 3 packs, although if I'm not mistaken 1 was left out? Then the difficulty picked up again in the Groupie rank.

At some point in the future, I plan to LP the New Formats version. That's not going to be for quite a while, though, as I don't consider enough time has passed since I started playing the pack to justify doing it just yet. Also, there are some packs I currently have lined up to LP, and I'll hopefully start LPing again soon. Just taking a break from SEB Lems which I recently finished LPing. That took me nearly an entire month to do, and that's counting the breaks I took in between to refresh myself whenever I got stuck badly.

Wow, that's great news, Arty! You've just given me a reason to do a quick check on kaywhyn's replays for the Rockstar and the Legend rank. So there might be another to Lemmings World Tour before you start picking up your LP again.

I can already assure you that kaywhyn's replays contained no backroutes on the first 10 Rockstar levels, so even if you don't update before Tuesday, you should be good to go for at least the first two episodes (assuming you stick to 5 levels per video). ;)

You really seem to remember every tiny little detail I mentioned . Yes, "Turn this club around" (by R.I.O. featuring U-Jean) from Lemmicks didn't make it into Lemmings World Tour, because it was relying on the Wrap gimmick. Even though with regard to its title, being an actual song, it would have fit in better than some others, like "Skies aflame" or "Twilems", which only allude to songs rather than being directly named after them.

Looking back, I might have been able to recreate the Wrap gimmick using teleporters on that level, as I've done on others (e.g. "World without end"). But that level had more degrees of freedom, as far as I recall, so I probably would have had to use a lot more teleporters to pull it off. Still, it might have been a better inclusion than "Brothers in arms" without the Hardworkers gimmick...
My packs so far:
Lemmings World Tour (New & Old Formats), my music-themed flagship pack, 320 levels - Let's Played by Colorful Arty
Lemmings Open Air, my newest release and follow-up to World Tour, 120 levels
Paralems (Old Formats), a more flavour-driven one, 150 levels
Pit Lems (Old Formats), a more puzzly one, 100 levels - Let's Played by nin10doadict
Lemmicks, a pack for (very old) NeoLemmix 1.43 full of gimmicks, 170 levels

Something that's been floating in my mind for the last few weeks, and that is for the start of 2022, I'm thinking of breaking the mold from all the LP videos of Lemmings level packs on my YT channel by doing a Q&A/AMA for my next video. You know, as a way for all of you to get to know me better. Would anyone be interested in such a video? If there is interest, I'm not sure how I will get question submissions from you users. One way I thought about is maybe making an announcement video and then you simply drop off a question(s) in the comments section. Another is, of course, doing a live video, but as I don't think many would be able to be present when it does go live, I likely won't do it this way. Or, I guess questions can either be dropped here in a post or PMed to me.

Another thing I would probably like to do is projecting the questions to be visible as well. I have absolutely no clue how to go about doing this, especially since I'm not really into video editing and all, as I'm so bad at it. Any suggestions for this are welcome.

An announcement video could be good since you've got your viewers on YouTube, including some of the LF people from here.

Do you use Mac or PC? If you have access to a Mac for video editing, go with iMovie. It's simple to use and has all of the stuff like text overlays and transitions and all that jazz - it's what I use for most of my video editing.

For PC, I use a paid software called HD Movie Maker Pro, which is currently on sale for $10. It's well worth it if you do a lot of videos, but takes a bit more getting used to than iMovie.

As for a Q&A, maybe get people to post their questions for you in your LP topic?

Q&A sounds interesting, you could also do a youtube stream or something and answer questions as they come in while playing / making a level or something if you don't want to go down the edited route - as the live chat should be saved with the vod. To add to WillLem's suggestions for editors, I've used davinci resolve in the past - it is free & available on win/mac/linux (though you have to sign up to get a download). It is pretty feature rich - but using it to cut clips together is fairly straightforward if you ignore the adanced tabs. If you want to see what it looks like Gamefromscratch did a video on it

That's a great idea! I will throw some questions if that happens. Maybe you can make a post in LF to gather some questions. Or probably you can make a google question form so people can send in their questions.

Based on the responses I have received, several are in favor of me doing a Q&A, so a future Q&A/AMA session will be happening! :) Thanks for the responses SQRon, WillLem, Apjjm, and Armani! I've decided to go with the announcement video suggestion like I was thinking initially (thanks SQRon and Apjjm for that! :)), and whereas for questions to submit, two ways, either in the comments section of the announcement video (already posted on my YT channel) or in my LP topic:

I use a PC. iMovie is also available for iPhones. I remember using it one time to post a video on social media. It was a bit of a pain to use, but that's because I don't really video edit and I'm not too good at it either.

I have decided that this is one way to get questions, so thank you for that

I will likely just do a non-live video for that, as I'm not really into video editing, and hence I wouldn't even know how to do the whole showing myself playing/solving a level or something else while answering questions. If anything, the trim and split features of the Windows 10 app are pretty much more than enough for me. I know, I'm very basic when it comes to video editing

Thanks Armani, you're the second one to suggest users posting questions for me here on LF, so I went with that  I thought about doing some kind of Google form thing, but it appears that I don't know how to do it :XD: Hence, I fell back to simpler ways for this, as I'm not going to worry too much about complicated ways to do this Q&A

Hello everyone,

After 3 months since the Q&A announcement video went up, I finally recorded the actual Q&A video answering some users' questions. Took me long enough :-\ Please note that there are some users I didn't get a chance to get to, as I decided to limit the duration to about a half hour. Rest assured I will answer the remaining questions in the next Q&A video, which I will hopefully do next weekend.

Here's the link to it:

I've started uploading oscilloscope deconstructions of some Lemmings tunes, and I plan to upload a bunch more, primarily the FM synth ones (AdLib, Genesis, and maybe some other I'm forgetting), and not just L1. I've seen these done for other games (especially Sonic games) and I wanted to see how Lemmings tunes would fare under this treatment. If that interests you, here's a couple links.

Lemming 1 (AdLib): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__UsZUbGxlM

Lemming 3 (Genesis): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_euCXo0dNek

Patronizingly Happy (AdLib): https://youtu.be/ACLxgAE-hXA

I figured this was just about significant enough to post here.
