I've sequelised one of LemSteven's projects! So, out of all the levels which are impossible in under one minute, how fast can you go around the rest of the levels? I've made a list of levels showing which ones are impossible in under one minute:

Fun: 14-15, 19, 21-23, 28.
Tricky: 4, 8, 14, 29-30
Taxing: 1, 7-8, 11-15, 17, 20, 23, 25, 28.
Mayhem: 1, 5-6, 9, 17, 19, 21-23, 26, 28-30.

Crazy: 4, 6-10, 14, 17-18.
Wild: 2, 4, 10, 13-16.
Wicked: 2, 9-12, 15.
Havoc: 1-5, 8-9, 11, 13, 20.

Frost: 1, 6-7, 10-12.
Hail: 1, 3, 7-14
Flurry: 6-8, 10, 13.
Blitz: 1-5, 9, 11-13, 15.

2 minutes: Fun 14, 15, 19, 21-23, 28; Tricky 4, 8, 14, 30; Taxing 7, 8, 11; Mayhem 5-6, 9, 17, 19, 21-22, 26, 30; Crazy 6-10; Wild 2, 4, 10, 13-16; Wicked 9-12, 15; Havoc 1-3, 5, 9, 11, 13, 20; Frost 1, 6-7, 10-12; Hail 1, 7, 10-14; Flurry 6-8, 13; Blitz 2-5, 11-13, 15.
3 minutes: Taxing 1, 13; Mayhem 1, 23, 28-29; Crazy 18; Wicked 2; Havoc 4, 8; Hail 3, 8-9; Flurry 10; Blitz 9.
4 minutes: Blitz 1
5 minutes: Taxing 14

I like this idea better. This way you get some sense of completion when you find a quick solution to a level. Something like, "okay, there's no way I'm going to be able to take another 20 seconds [or whatever] off this solution, time to move on", rather than "ooh, maybe if I change the release rate slightly at this point, I can take another second off this solution. UGH http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/sick.gif" alt="" title="Sick" class="smiley" /> now I have to play through the whole thing again and redo all the glitches and perfect timing...". If you see what I mean.

In other words, this way is easier. Much easier.

In this thread, they don't have to be. But in your thread, if they're not exact, then you have to live with the knowledge that they can be improved, which is not satisfying at all.

To begin: Fun 14, 15 and 19 can all be done in 2 minutes.

Did you look at this thread yet?

I have just now. Good point, http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/XD.gif" alt=":XD:" title="XD" class="smiley" /> although the levels aren't finished yet, I'll keep the copy in my folder and I'll update my topic.

Fun 14 and 15 can be done in 2 minutes.

Please send me a replay of Fun 15, because I was struggling. Anyway, I've also checked that Fun 14 is doable in 2. Only just though...

Fun 15 takes a bit of speed-building to cross the gap fast enough. Here is a replay.

I used miners there because the speed-building trick only works with bashers, and there aren't enough available to bash the pillars as well.

Actually, this is one of two speed-building tricks - the other is where you use multiple lemmings together, each building from the end of a new brick laid by the previous one as soon as possible.

So I wonder, what release rate will this trick work the best? I might find it out for myself though...

Anyway, I don't think this project is finished yet, even though I've updated all results. I personally think the times aren't that strict. I might look at some lemmix replays (no matter what they are) to see how fast each level was done.

3 minutes: Tricky 4, Taxing 7, Crazy 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, Wild 13, 15, 16, Havoc 4, 12, Flurry 8.

Bolded levels can all be done in 2 minutes. Havoc 12 can be done in one minute (hence it shouldn't even be on this list).

Replays attached for Taxing 7 and Crazy 10, since these are very difficult to do.

Bashing the steel? That's cheating! http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/tongue.gif" alt=":P" title="Tongue" class="smiley" />

OK, I'll let you off...

The 2-minute list could yet grow rather large...

I have done the Original levels from the 4-minute list and found them all to be doable in less:
2 minutes: Tricky 8, 30, Taxing 11, Mayhem 6, 9, 17
3 minutes: Taxing 1

EDIT: Just noticed that some levels are missing from the current lists (eg. Crazy 18). Can you please add them in? (Just use their time limits as before)

4 minutes: Tricky 8, 30, Taxing 11, Crazy 8, Wild 2, 4, 10, 14, Wicked 2, 9-12, 15, Flurry 6, 7, Havoc 1-3, 5, 8-9, 11, 13, Frost 12, Hail 10.

All the ONML levels in the 4-minute list, except Wicked 2, can be done in 2 minutes. (Can you delete the three Original levels from this group? They've been moved already.)

Crazy 18 (3 minutes) can go to the 2-minute group as well.

Attached are replays for Wicked 9, 10 and 11.
