You know, I've never known such a bunch of whiney complainey b@$+@??$ in all my life. I set easy, simple to follow rules, and then a bunch of ?@?K3?$ waltz in and think they're all that and can simply ignore them. Are you too good for rules? I made the rules so there'd be order, there'd be a reasonable way to decide how to play a game which can't be moderated very easily, and I had to moderate the ?u(K/?? thing on my freakin' own.

Well, you know what @?$3??/3$, good luck maintaining a quiz on your own without any rules to follow whatsoever. I hope having no game structure and way to decide how to resolve conflicts makes things more fun for you.

First question to start you guys off and then I'm out of here:
Game Lemmings 2
Version DOS/Amiga
Questions How many skills in total are needed to solve "A Hero's Journey"?

I don't know about anyone else, but I have no problem with rules, provided:

1) They're enforced to the same extent on everyone. For example, if User1 loses one point for a wrong answer, User2 shouldn't lose two points for it (unless, say for example, the rules say "The first person to be wrong loses 1 point, any further wrong answers lose 2 points")
2) They're justified. "Don't ask a question out of nowhere" is very justified. "You lose points if you don't post comments in italics" is not.

For the love of Heaven Can Wait (we hope!), you can't even behave yourself in another thread.

You ask one of the global moderators whose thread that was. You ask them who made that quiz. You ask them who made the rules. You ask them who had final say on what goes on. You ask the other people who COULD ACTUALLY READ THE RULES who also got penalised for "You lose a point for posts that don't follow the rules" which was a few lines down from the one about non-quiz-related-comments were to be italicised.

I've reported you personally to one of the moderators. You've already been warned. From what I can gather, don't count on your freedom of speech to last much longer, troll.

How am I "not behaving myself"?

You commented on how we don't like rules, I commented on how that I don't mind them provided they're fair, both in themself and in their enforcement. Completely on-topic and relevant to your post. I even made a point of not flaming you, or even specifically accusing you, but simply talking about them in a general sense.

They were fair, and I only changed them once to update the score system because it was confusing!

Your playing of the game basically meant you should have abided by them. Instead, you had a hissy fit because you started playing before you read the rules properly.

I see you've started a new quiz thread. Enjoy it.

Jason, calm down!

This argument has gone on for far too long, and it's over something as trivial as a Lemmings Trivia thread.

N, you were trying to dig your way out of a hole, but you ended up digging yourself deeper into said hole.

Comments in italics is a fair rule, it helps people who scan the page differentiate between comments and questions.

For the time being, namida, I suggest that you do not participate in a thread unless you have something useful to say which isn't pedantry and take some time out away from here. I'm closing both quizzes, and I don't want to see another quiz thread until this has all blown over.

If this continues spiralling out of control, I will have no choice but to issue temporary and/or permanent bans to members who are disrupting the flow of the threads. I will be keeping a very watchful eye on one or two members here, just to make sure nothing else happens. Consider this your first and final warning.
