Just curius what your guys favourite levels are. What levels are in your opinion, the hardest/easiest. What levels are too hard or too easy for that level dificulty, that sorta thing.

I feel the top 3 hardest levels in the game are 'and Then There Were Four', 'Steel Mines of Kessel' and of course 'Save me'

'and then there were four' is a pretty hard level as you have to multitask really well, Even with Lemix this level is a tuffy.

'Steel Mines of Kessel' was just Generally anoying.

Save Me is just the meanest level. It took me ages to beat my first time playing. Harsh time limit plus anoying building and blocking at end = many restarts. This level should have definatly been the last level.

A few levels that definatly were put in the wrong dificulty level are 'Triple trouble' (should have been early mayhem), 'All or Nothing(shouldnt be in the game at all, why they put this in the last 10 mayhem levels is beyond me.), and 'Rendiview at the Moutain', which was imo a dissapoitning last level.

My favourite level is probably menacing as it was my favourite level that i played when i was younger. It was one of the few levels i remembered.

"Steel Mines of Kessel" is ok, but you have to know the little trick that makes lemmings to go through the blockers. Once you master that, it's a piece of cake! :agree: that it can be annoying.

"And then there were four" is quite a bit easy... I didn't find that level to be hard.

:agree: with you, "Save Me!" should be the last level of the game as it is VERY hard.

"Triple trouble" is another hard level and :agree:, this level should be in the Mayhem rating. The most annoying thing on that level is the fact that you must click a lemming to build in a correct diretion when it is in a melee. If you click and the lemming builds in the wrong direction, you lose the level and must restart again and again. I really enjoyed the "press the arrow key to force the direction" system of Win95 for this level. For the corrected version of Lemmings, I gave 12 builders, which is much better and adapted for the Taxing rating.

Also, :agree: on "All or Nothing", this level sucks and shouldn't exist. It's all a matter of luck. Really bad level!

"Rendezvous at the Mountain" is not that bad for the last level. It makes a nice "memorable" ending level for the game, no?

"Down, along, up. In that order." is also a very tough level where you really have to put the blockers correctly and aim the builders correctly to get all the lemmings to the exit.

My favourite level? Hard to say...
I like dragons! They're the center of my life! I'll never forget them...

Pieuw

I think my favourite level is "Postcard from Lemmingland" !
I love "No added colours or lemmings" & "It's hero time !" too.
(In "Oh no ! More lemmings", my favourite is without hesitation "There's madness in the method")

The hardest is "Save me", I agree with you.

But there's a lot of annoying levels : I haaaaate "Going up......" ! Build, build, build, bash.... *Take a nap* Oh, I have to build and bash again !
"Hunt the Nessy", "Mind the step", all the "building & building" levels.

For me, "All or Nothing", "Have a Nice Day", and "Curse of the Pharohs" shouldn't be in Mayhem difficulty, moreover the last two shouldn't exist cause the solving is the same that in the Fun/Tricky levels :o

"Rendez-vous at the Moutain" is a pretty good one to close the game, I think :p

In general I don't like most of the original level as they are mainly just about building, building, building. In fact, I didn't even bother to complete the original level set.
Yet there are some gems amongst them; my favourite levels pretty much go alike with Pieuw's: "No added Colors or Lemmings", "It's hero time", additionally the "Just a Minute" series and "Last one out is a rotten egg" if it wasn't that much about building. From the easier ones I like "Postcard from Lemmingland" as well, "Compression Method 1" and perhaps "With a Twist of Lemmings please".
Taking the Genesis level into consideration as well, my overall favourite level would be "Lemmings' Ark" then. Other neat Genesis levels are "I am A.T.", the "Fall and No Life" series as well as "Out, Away from the Tune", "Private Room Available" and perhaps some more.

In general I prefer ONML way over the original level set. My favourite is without doubt "There's madness in the method" as well. Apart from this one, my list would be too long, so the best ones IMO: "Creature Discomforts", "Lemming about town", "Five Alive", "Scaling the Heights". "The race against Clich?Ęł" is also a nice hard one.

A thread like this had already been in the old Forum, so here you can read some other peoples' some of whom are not active anymore opinions: http://it.travisbsd.org/lemmings/lemmingswelt/forums/?topic=1096179119

Mr. K

I mostly like the simple but puzzling levels, such as "No added colours or lemmings" and "Postcard from lemmingland". I don't hate the building ones too much, but I hate the bomber timing ones!!!

MR_OJR

My favourites are "It's Hero Time" and "Feel the heat"... :P

Funny thing is a while ago I compiled a list of my favourite levels that iwas based mostly on how interesting it was to find many ways to complete the level, despite the fact that it was plain easy to finish most of them. Additionally I liked many of the level names which also contributed to the list. The top 30 lsit can be viewed here:
