For over 25 years, Lemmings Scholars have been flummoxed by the greatest and most challenging question ever posed in the Lemmings universe: What does the title of Outdoor 9, "22934" actually mean?

I finally worked it out. Answer in the below spoiler tag.

Spoiler
The skill counts of the level are 01, 01, 10, 01, 10, 01, 01 and 10, which makes the binary number 0101100110010110, that has a value of 22934.

Well done, that's fantastic! Oh and also...

Spoiler
It kinda reminds me of this, but with numbers instead of letters.

Very nice, you have special place in my heart.

I had always thought that it's DMA's favorite Pizza service's telephone number, and they would always call that when they worked overtime on L2. Of course, your theory holds much more power.

I chose 22934 for Lix's UDP port in 2008/2009 because it was unused and easy to remember from the L2 mystery level name.

I'm kind of surprised none of the math guys didn't figure this out before. Considering that is an odd skill set. :-\

Brilliant find !   I wonder when they designed the level  ...if they placed bets on if anyone would ever figure out this 'puzzle' title
Maybe there's a prize waiting for you     :D

I hadn't heard of this level before... but that's cool!

Whenever I visited Simon, this one came up and we were mystified and pondering what the name could be about.

I didn't notice the skill pattern (always 1 or 10 of a skill), this is a great find!
Good work putting everything together, how did you come up with the idea?

Great mystery solved, case closed. So no obscure lore behind this one, after all.
