Hi folks,

Lix version 2015-04-25 has been released. Download Lix or read the changelog. Report bugs.

Main features: Community level pack, and unicode support.

Maybe you've played the community pack already, and don't need ä ö ß é ç in your game, then you don't have to get this. ;-) The pack is now called lemforum, and listed first in the game. If someone would like to translate the game, read doc/transl.txt.

Thanks to ccexplore for pushing and implementing the overdue unicode support in Lix!

Thanks to geoo for being an awesome maintainer of the community pack, and thanks to the level designers of this pack: Insane Steve, Michael, geoo, mobius, Nortaneous, and some others. geoo will continue to maintain the pack, the next step is to include the collected hints.

(This is not the D port, it's a normal C++/A4 Lix release. The D port is expected to take at least until end of year.)

Proxima reported upon starting the game a severe monitor flicker. I'd like him to test some more builds (Proxima: see private message). This could come from me building bad Windows binaries on Linux. It's unlikely to have introduced such a bug in the Lix code since 2015-02, but I want to make this sure.

Akseli's game can't enter fullscreen. However, he's got this problem in other games, too, and has this with geoo's builds in 2014 already.

Giga has run a recent build without problems 2 days ago.

If anyone else notices problems, please let me know!

Win7 64 - Works perfect on this platform still.

Thanks. :-)

Giga had a problem with saving/loading global and user config. When he exited and restarted, the game would load the standard config instead of his own.

This doesn't happen in the Linux build. Can someone try to reproduce this in the Windows build? Others (namida) don't have the problem on Windows either. Will try to get more info from Giga.

If you haven't done so already, ask Giga to zip up the entire "data" subfolder under his Lix folder, and send that over to us via post attachment, PM attachment or DropBox or similar.  (We don't actually need the "sound" and "images" subfolders under "data", but no harm including those.)  I suspect it will help you greatly with repro, in fact maybe even under Linux.

<SimonN> do you still have the problem with unsaved options?
<GigaLem> It only happened once
<SimonN> so your options are now saved properly?
<GigaLem> now its decides to keep my settings

Other people haven't noticed problems like this, so let's file it away as a random occurence.
