Ah, it's nice to see you back, Adam!

I talked to Mr K via PM, and I guess it couldn't hurt making one of the regulars a mod. Perhaps someone from a different time zone than you and Mr K (EDIT: oh wait, I thought for a moment Mr K was from the UK, but I think you're from the US?) for cases like this, like, say, Clam (who's basically on the other end of the world).

Welcome back Adam! (again!) http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/thumbsup.gif" alt="" title="Thumbs Up" class="smiley" />

I'm reluctant to put myself forward for mod, since many others have been around longer than me and done more for the game. And also because I mentioned it on the IRC once which means I "haven't truly truly earned it" http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/tongue.gif" alt=":P" title="Tongue" class="smiley" /> (quote from Simon). On the other hand, there aren't many others on here between about 0600-1000 UCT.

Of course, I'm flattered to be nominated and I'll gladly take it on if needed http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/smiley.gif" alt=":)" title="Smiley" class="smiley" />

Frankly, I'm far more curious whether the pictures were merely copied from pre-existing pictures out on the Internet, or whether the human spammer actually took the sad effort to create the pictures himself.

Some of them were dated 11 or 12, so I doubt any of it was fresh material just for us http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/laugh.gif" alt=":D" title="Laugh" class="smiley" /> http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/undecided.gif" alt=":-\" title="Undecided" class="smiley" />. It's merely Rule 34 in action (don't Google Image that please)

Simon

Make both Clam and geoo global mods. They're both extremely active here, have hosted competitions and collection threads, and everything.

Make both Clam and geoo global mods. They're both extremely active here, have hosted competitions and collection threads, and everything.
And they're sensible and community-minded and all that, as evidenced by their responses to the recent spamming.

So: Seconded. http://www.lemmingsforums.com/Smileys/lemmings/smiley.gif" alt=":)" title="Smiley" class="smiley" />
