Help & Guides / Re: Xmas cLemmings

Yes, I've watched many of those, and see that often the player tries the same (faulty) approaches as I do.

I found Xmas cLemmings a bit weird...the highest difficulty rank was better than the one below. And no block bombers ! I actually got through the 16 Blitz levels. Yay :-)

Help & Guides / Xmas cLemmings

Hi all,
I have to resort to the forum again, as I can't solve the level Hail 14 "No Rendezvous For You". I'm usually depending on namida's replays when I get stuck (thank you !), but this level is missing from the replay file for some reason.
In the more recent players, I see a tendency to something like "experts making levels for experts". I do understand that most of you on this forum belong to that category, so it is not meant as a critiscism...but I usually throw in the towel towards the end of the next to last difficulty level. The more "normal" play-for-fun players (like me) necessarily lose out on a lot of levels. But I have to play to improve, right ? ;-)

Edit : Solved the level, also found namida's comments on why it wasn't included in the replay file....

If I had needed to think about positions, I would have said "The middle ...nah, too obvious.." Hee hee!

Ah...tnx, namida, you're quick to respond as always :-) Greatly appreciated !
Now...off for more hours of lemming fun..

Hee hee!  I didn't even think of that, namida :-)
I understand what ccexplore is saying...but we'll never know if they left it like that intentionally. probably not...or they couldn't be bothered to "fix" it.

Great :-) I'm always on the hunt for new levels, but not too fond of the Lemmini player.
Are these all different ? All are "latest version" ?

The download site in the fist post is marked as malicious... ?
(Same goes for the other cLemmings versions, as they are on the same site.)

I didn't have the manual, but simply looked closely to see if one of the exits looked different in any way. And the correct exit does stand out...the candles are slightly different.

Btw... is this a backroute ?

Well I completed the Lemmini version of the pack and uploaded my solutions on my YT channel, but quite a few levels have been changed or fixed so they will not help with all levels.
But maybe the videos can still help with some of them!

Yes, I know...as I said, I found the old Lemmini version. Kudos to you for all the videos you have uploaded, they have helped me out many times :-)

Are there replays anywhere ? Hate skipping levels...when I get stuck, I see it as an opportunity to learn something.
I found replays for the old pack, sometimes they are of help. But not all leves are there, and some have changed too much.
When level packs are released, solutions should also be supplied, imho....

Those little marching fellows do hijack your brain, don't they...? :lemming:
If I play before bedtime, I often have the strangest lemmings related dreams :-)

How is this work coming along ? I have finished all of GigaLems (1.0 ?), and have enjoyed it very much.
You have kept to the traditional skills and worked nicely with those, which I prefer...thank you !

I have skipped several other level packs because of their non-traditional approach with a varying array of new skills and  frenzy/gimmick levels. Just my personal taste...

Help & Guides / Re: Loading a state ?
June 18, 2015, 03:29:49 PM
Ah...my misunderstanding, I thought it was possible to load a game that is "saved" at a certain point, exit the game and then reload & play from that point on.
I tried again using the U option/replay, which works just fine :-)
Tnx again for super fast response, namida !
