I don't know how easy the work would be, but you could start with just an initial 1.0 release that only adds the uncontested improvements from SLX. The menu fixes, the icons... stuff like that.

I prefer the latter option.

I like everything. Can't wait to try it out.

I was thinking about changing my vote from 2, to 1 just to break the tie. But it's been broke... for now.

I voted YES, but option 2 to possible consider a time limit.
Seems a bit mario-like for invincibility to end after a time, which I like. I think he should be able to exit too.

P.S. I'm on the edge for option 1.

Thoughts welcome?

Love it!

The cleanse level button is cool too.

I like neutrals working like this. It feels very "neutral" of them to work the same for any side.

Here are all of the Lemmings 2 level files. I used Lemzip to decompress them and zipped them.

I hope this helps.

I like the suggested names for the levels.

@Mobiethian

To disable the scanlines just replace the file in the Data folder with this one.

*You can modify the (486.conf) file in my other conversions as well by editing this file in those versions, going to the (render) section and changing the glshader=none.

Here's the other two conversions, for anyone interested.

I would never use virtual machine with this. Virtual machine is a pc emulator and the dosbox included in this package is also a pc emulator. You're using an emulator inside an emulator. The included Dosbox here is trying to use your local pc sound and video options and you're only offering some emulated version of that.

The only thing I can think of is that it must be incompatible with your emulated video card or maybe your PC is not new enough for all this emulation.

These packages have been downloaded dozens of times and used by many many people with no issue, they are safe to use without virtual machine. And I'm sure there's a person or two here that can attest to this as I've been a member here for years.

I think the hearing impaired would appreciate a verbose mode that includes Let's go and Yippee as well. If it's all going in the panel anyway.

I prefer a nice bright contrast myself, like a yellow or bright orange for the text.

Will the text just stay for a couple seconds and then disappear?

You don't need virtual machine for this. Just unzip, or unrar to a folder and click the bat file.
I made this myself, it's no virus. I made all these myself.

ctrl+f9 will get you back to desktop if you can't get out any other way.

This uses dosbox, but it's all set up to work automatically. You won't need to have any knowledge of dosbox to use this. And dosbox is of course an EXE file, so that is normal.

I like this more than I thought I would.
