Lix Version: Lix 0.10.27
Operating System Version: Windows 10 LTSC 2021 64-bit English-United Kingdom, Version 21H2 OS Build 19044.5131
Description: When opening the levels "Pro Boxing" (2p or 4p) by "Amanda," the levels open in single-player mode despite being multi-player levels.
Steps to reproduce: - Open Lix
- Open Single Player
- Locate the levels
- Play them
Screenshots/Recordings: Expected behaviour: The level opens in solobattle mode, as it is multiplayer
This is because the author Amanda set the intended number of players to 1 in the editor. If this happens, check the level file itself and check if "Intended number of players" is set to 1.
You can always just change this number to a value other than 1 as a temporary fix.
Yes, the intended number of players was 1 for both Pro Boxings. I'll change them to 2 and 4.
Earmarked for the next release (Lix 0.10.28). If you want it faster, change the intended number of players in the editor as Flopsy has explained.
History: The intended number of players has never been important until I introduced solobattle in December 2023. Networking games (multiplayer battle mode) picks the number of tribes (lix colors) based on the player choices from the lobby, not according to the level's intended number of players. But I've had the intended number of players in the levels since May 2016. Back then, I mass-edited the existing maps and inserted the intended number. Some levels slipped through the cracks during the mass-editing.
