:lem-mindblown::lem-mindblown::lem-mindblown:
This bug doesn't occurs if the terrain is climbable(In this case, the tri-athlete climbs up the terrain.) or downward slope(In this case, the tri-athlete swims downward.)
Ah, simple exaplanation:
If the Lemming has mastered swimming, climbing and sliding he becomes the Chuck Norris Lem who can swim through land! 8-)
Lovely find.
The L1 climber wants its pin inside terrain. This is the culturally ingrained source of all evil!

That's almost too awesome to remove it, yet it's totally not what you would expect, i.e. the epitome of confusing for any new player (or anyone new to the Slider, which we will all be in the beginning of a stable version featuring it). So I guess that calls for a change here. The question is though whether it can actually be changed at all, because as Simon says, the Climber's behaviour is long-established, and we've just had a Swimmer physics change.

It absolutely can and will be fixed. It's a problem arising from this specific combination, and - contrary to what Simon's post may imply at a quick glance - should not require a significant change to how the climber works in order to fix it.
It appears that fixing the slip-through-thin-floors slider bug (https://www.lemmingsforums.net/index.php?topic=5380.0) has also fixed this one as a side effect.
