This forum needs this game.

All you have to do is post the next number but posting pictures related to the number makes it funner. Only post one number at a time.

Hey, I remember playing this game at CivFanatics one time. If I recall, it only reached about 150 before it died, so maybe we can do better!
Giga, the idea of the game is to find pictures related to each number, instead of just typing them out. If you don't have any ideas, you could do a Google image search or look up Wikipedia and find a picture that way. I'll carry on and do 2, if you find something for 1 you can edit it into your post

And I know this isn't greatly original, but hey, there aren't that many Lemmings games so I may as well go with this:

That's lithium by the way.

That's Chinese for four.

aside: probably won't happen, but since the game is called "Count to
1000", what
is supposed to happen after 1000? Do we go on to 1001, stop playing, or wraparound back to 0?
Simple,
we carry on to 4.2*10^99 (yes Mr K, I lurk your forum on rare occasions

)
yes, that is a real playing card =)

Can someone explain how 25 fits into Gronkling's picture above?

Here's 26. As you know, there are 26 letters in the English alphabet, and the last one is, well:
Pikachu is Pokémon #25.

You heard Clam, let's at least aim for 151!

In front are astronauts James D. Wetherbee (right) and Paul S. Lockhart, commander and pilot, respectively. Attired in training versions of the extravehicular mobility unit (EMU) space suits are astronauts Michael E. Lopez-Alegria (left) and John B. Herrington, both mission specialists."

Yeah, about that... I found that thread again, and indeed it did get to 150 exactly. BUT, they tried it again and got to 234 (although that did include one guy doing tons of numbers in one post, with nothing but trains, so I guess that's kinda cheating).

Each interior angle of a regular hexagon is 120 degrees, and regular hexagons occur naturally in honeycombs.
(of course, in current events "HoneyComb" tends to refer to something else entirely; even the source webpage of this image isn't talking about the insect product......)
My, aren't we on the self-referential bandwagon lately.

Ah. You've converted the
text "142" (ie, the textual characters 1, then 4, then 2) to hex, not the
number 142. If you want to convert numbers into different bases like this, use something else; I think if you type "142 in hex" into google even that'll just give you the answer. The website Wolfram Alpha is quite good for doing quick little sums like this, along with being competent at more complex maths. It's what I use if I ever need to do sums...

Anyway, so as not to break the thread:
