This game is great, but also very underrated.
It's a puzzle game where the main character, Beethro Budkin, must clear a level of its monsters. There are many obstacles to overcome when fighting them.

My very first thought is that "Deadly Rooms of Death" is about as dumb as it goes when it comes to a videogame title (unless they're going for intentional campiness). 
I'm glad they stick with "DROD" when referring to it on the website.
I guess I'll give it a spin one of these days.

I think you'd like it, ccexplore -- although I completed the first game (King Dugan's Dungeon) I had to give up on the DROD series because the puzzles are just too mindbendingly hard for me -- especially the fan-made ones. I preferred the spin-off DROD:RPG, until that too was taken over with people making puzzles way above my level
