Is there any way to record a LemEdit Customized Lemmings level? Because when you use LemEdit, the whole screen gets replace with the editor.

Since you aren't using DOSBox to run LemEdit/CustLemm, your only option is to get a video camcorder and directly record what's on the screen, and then later transfer the video from the camcorder to the computer.  What can I say, you get what you get for using old technologies.  If you use DOSBox to run LemEdit/CustLemm, then DOSBox has a build-in option to record video for you.

If you really want to endure watching me playing my L++ Master System remakes, you can watch Fun here and Tricky here.

It's amazing how much work and thought you put into the styles and levels. Great work!

Thanks, Simon and Clammo, comments like these make the effort worthwhile.

Currently working on getting Mayhem up to 40(ish) levels.

I always upload the solutions of my levels on to youtube because it's a way to get feedback without having your level reveiwed.

In Lemmix, how do I turn the replay file into a video file and put it on Youtube?

Unfortunately you can't change a replay file into a video file. (I don't think) I always do this:

1.Download a screen recording software. I use Camstudio
2.Record the replay on the screen recorder and save it.
3.Edit and add music if you want.
4.Upload the video onto youtube.
5.Done!

Custom level that I just finished: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8bT-rZoG8s

Didn't check for backroutes. I'm sick of this level anyway.

A lot of your solutions wouldn't work on the actual SMS Lemmings... builders don't turn around on other builder's bridges, and you can't make builders bash (only mine or dig)...

Yes, also some of those solutions won't work unmodified in DOS Lemmings 1 physics either. (Assign miner on steel, one second is 15 frames instead of 17, have more time after 0:00 for late entrees due to how the nuke assigns exploders.)

Basically L++ isn't the correct choice for levels if you wish to have canonical Lemmings mechanics; it's geared towards flexibility in multiplayer. Emulation will likely serve one better if SMS physics are important.

With my L++ stuff, I didn't care about the SMS physics.. to me, the terrain is far more important. I'd prefer to breathe some new life into the SMS levels.

sweet I think I figured out how to put solutions to my levels on Youtube finally

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnIZQETKM7c

I might just post video solutions instead of a text file for Isteve11.dat

Well then... the only other comment I have (apart from AWESOME work on the remakes of non-SMS levels) is, for And Then There Were Four, you should've solved the bottom-left before the top-left. You have no idea how much easier it is this way.

I spammed the replay feature in Lemmix to make this video because I keep messing up in the level. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5ZnyYK8leU It's the solution to my favorite Eygpt level from Lemmings PSP. I couldn't make the level play the same exact way like the PSP version because the wood terrain is different and the Noose Trap doesn't have that trigger area when a Lemming is walking up the stairs, making the one way left arrows pointless. Overall, I like the PSP version of Temple of Return better.
