Title: Music track ordering
Post by: Minim on October 12, 2009, 06:32:19 PM
This works on Lemmini, but I wanted this to work on Lemmix as well.

Here's my question: Is it possible to change the order of the music tracks for each lemmings level? It's just that every level position has the same track playing over again.

I think the song order (and the songs themselves, for that matter) is hardcoded into the .exe, so I don't think you can.

If the music are stored as resources, it may be possible to re-order them with a resource editor.

But it almost sounds like you want a "shuffle mode" for the tracks, so that you don't get the same song every time you play a particular level.  I do not realize Lemmini supports this, unless you count changing the order yourself manually every time before you start playing.

I avoided that by just creating a new folder in the levels file called "Lemmings" and copied all the files and moved them here. And then on the title menu I found the level pack at the bottom of the list and all the music was changed.
